The MCs personality very much urks me, and the fact the the author tries to justify the pathetic personality of the MCs is even worse, a people pleaser is a horrid persona for an MC, and no matter how you try and spin it, that's exactly what he was doing, until he no longer needed too, but still tries to make them like him, so they put up with him, how sad, I might keep reading, and if it gets better, I'll retract this review.

yall deadass weird lol. there are a lot of Mangas out there where dudes are timid and weak af, till they start growing. I hardly see what's wrong for a dude to be weakling/beta or whatever at the beginning, only for him to later on grow. (Which is what many English novels in web novel is currently doing rn, but nobody criticizes them for this same reason that you and many others have used against Chinese novels, how strange.)

yeah bc for most chinese novels, the mc stays a beta for a long amount of chapters. no one wants to read 100+ chapters of a mc being a beta. people love to read because they can imagine themselves as the mc, so i dont think anyone wants to imagine themselves as a beta fk.

There’s a difference between reading a novel verse reading a manga. P.S. Manga is already plural

No? Can you prove that to be the case for most novels? No you can't. The reason as to why people generally read a story is because of it being a fiction, not to imagine themselves as one dude. Again, you're neglecting the fact that growth is a necessary part of a story.

There is no difference in characterization. Get that right 😂 "Plural" Not really? "I read a manga" ≠ Several. "I read manga" ≠ Plural, as it is vague and the most likely definition would be just one. "I read mangas = Plural, because it indicates more than one. While some do say it can be plural, it doesn't really grammatically make sense. But idk why you're cherry picking this.

You're completely wrong in the case where "manga" can be plural by writing it as "mangas." You're 100% wrong when you say it doesn't make grammatical sense. It makes complete grammatical sense. The issue here is that grammar doesn't always make logical sense. Although "manga" isn't actually one of the English words that another commenter was pointing out like "moose" or "aircraft" that don't follow the norm. The word "manga" does actually follow proper grammar. It is a word that is not an English word. It is a borrowed word. Borrowed words often follow the grammatical structure of the language they are borrowed from. "Manga" is Japanese. Saying "mangas" is completely incorrect as that is not the plural form of the Japanese word.

No, I am completely right. Yeah manga isn't one of the English words. But you're aware that we wouldn't also say "I have read several comic book" but "I have read several comic books"? Manga is just the Japanese version of comic books. Furthermore, even if we were to ignore this.. It's mainly just preference. Since the Japanese language does not have a way of pluralizing that applies to most of their words (like adding an 's' to the end of words in English), it is usually left to preferences. Some people like to say 'manga' and 'anime' as the plural form of the words since it sounds more "correct" and is similar to the way the plural version of 'deer' is 'deer'. Other people prefer to say 'mangas' and 'animes' because in English it is common to add 's' to the end of words to pluralize them. Since there is no definite way of pluralizing these words, you can just pick whether or not you want to say the words with a 's' or not.

Nope, your counter of using it's English equivalent even further cements that you're wrong as the two words are not the same, grammatically speaking. I already gave you the actual textbook answer on why you were wrong, but clearly you won't take my word on it. So don't. Google Purdue OWL(online writing lab). It is one of the best online sources for any writing and grammar questions anyone could possibly have concerning the English language.

No, it further cements the fact that both you and I remain in this arbitrary subjective topic 🤣 Nothing you said countered what I said. At all.

Please do not encourage theft. You can read this almost freely on webnovel by doing simple stuff like watching ads or reviewing the story. Please don't participate in stolen work. Disclaimer: Be patient with this one there are a few... 1st -This is a story where there will be some hot scenes (later down the line) 2nd- As for the start of the story, it is an Academy setting, but it's not the main premise, it's a full world to explore, with continents and dungeon crawling and battles A LOT of battles,. But this academy is the starting point. So please don't judge it poorly 3d- There will be no filler chapters! Not a single one there will be nothing but pure plot, any flashback in the story will have purpose and have incredibly important information regarding future events. 4th The story is slow, but once it picks up, you'll need to buckle up. 5th, There will be no info dumping or overly lengthy fight scenes. Fight length will depend on the opponents the MC is fighting, I'm not gonna write 10 chapters where the mc is fighting some third rate character or 5 chapters explaining a single spell that's not me. 6th last but not least, I'm not the type to make the MC overpowered or give him random abilities just for the sake of winning a fight, fights are meant to be exciting, thrilling and most of all, feel hard-earned when winning. Our MC will not have any easy gifts that aren't earned. Ludwig Heart, the heir to a vast fortune and a life of luxury, craves only one thing: freedom from his gilded cage. But when a plane crash catapults him into a world of magic and danger, he awakens not as the hero he dreamed of, but as a victim in a twisted ritual. Trapped between the ambitions of dark necromancers and the wrath of vengeful gods, Ludwig must navigate a deadly new reality where his life is no longer his own. Stripped of privilege and resurrected as an undead pawn, Ludwig’s fight for survival will determine whether he reclaims his destiny—or becomes a mere footnote in a world of shadows and deceit.
