At the risk of being hammered by invayne fans, I wanted to write this review. Like pretty much all of invayne's novels, this one suffers from poor pacing, poorly thought out power escalations, and characters getting constantly introduced and then barely paid attention too. Spoilers to follow. Adel and Sophie go from interesting characters to 2D paper cutout waifus, just like most harem novels. A demon is introduced, and then another, only for them to suddenly be thrust out as possible love interests. The "stakes" go from bandits to corrupt nobles, to world ending machinery in some very short chapters. and I mean very short. There's a lot of chapters, but not a lot of content because most of it is repeated and ranted about, especially by the MC Faith. This brings about another problem. Faith and her life goes from silly to deadly serious and back again at breakneck speed. I was constantly experiencing "narrative whiplash" as we go from "rescue someone you love" to "haha, silly cuddles" all at the same time. I will give them credit where it's due, the writing style and quality is pretty good with only a few errors here and there, and the updates are consistent and constant. I think the updates are probably due to the fact that Webnovel pushes writers to keep doing so to keep their novel relevant, highly rated, and therefore profitable. I won't fault any writer for that, especially not one who is a decent writer and has a passion for their novel, which I think invayne does have. In summary: Keep doing your best invayne, don't let my opinion change you, it's just your novels are not for me. And all of that is after I spent so much time reading, lol.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
