This is a great FF, unlike other novels, including the original, the protagonist thinks before he acts (building a spy network, an "army", TEACHING ANCIENT LANGUAGE TO HIS NAKAMA, reading the ancient books in the library instead of thinking of them as useless, spreading cultivation technics to a lot of people SO THEY CAN DEFEND THE CITY WHEN HE LEAVES...). Another difference compared with most FF, is that although the "cannon" is maintained, many new and interesting things are added, relationships (with the criminal organizations), artifacts (mobile phone!!), different kinds of use for the original object (scrolls getting stronger when using demon soul)... it's still too early to talk about this, but, adding an original adventure or some BIG changes to the canonical ones will be very appreciated. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the story is progressing very fast, which leaves no time for the relationships to grow. I know that most people come here after reading the original, but it's been too long since I read it, so a slower peace used to "show" the characters' personality is needed in my opinion.

Thank you for your review. It is the longest and most thought-out review I got. I would have pinned it if there weren't spoilers. Regarding the pace. When I started this fic I didn't remember much about the story as well. I read a fanfic about it and decided to write my own. But now after almost two months of writing, I researched some, remembered some, and became more knowledgeable about this universe. But there are readers, actually, most of them know more than me. And I can feel their impatience. I know they think that the pacing is too slow considering chapterwise I am almost at the same place as in canon. And my writing speed isn't great either. The riot isn't happening only because the readers are considerate towards my first fic.

I understand, FF are supposed to be fast-paced; after all most people have read the original, so further elaboration would appear redundant. In fact, the reason I took much more time than normal making this review and was much harsher than usual is because TDG is the first manhua and light novel i read, and the author ruined my experience with  his breaks, to the point that i have yet to read the ending, in fear of being disappointed further. You are doing great, and about the review, I think you should make your own review, with some points that you didn't include in the synopsis and pin it, so that readers, that would have otherwise left without reading, may change their mind and give it a chance.
