The story just completed its first Arc, so I will drop the shameless review. *COUGH* *COUGH* *AHEM* I want to be the very best Like no one ever was To catch them is my real test To train them is my cause I will travel across the land Searching far and wide Each Pokemon to understand The power that's inside Pokemon! No big harem. 2 or maybe 3(Still not sure if i should do three)? Since this is going to be a long fanfic, as how I have planned it. I am not going to make him have 10 to 12 girls since this is about catching pokemon not waifus. I hope this answers your question.

2 or 3 is kind of hard. 1 is at this point kinda out. 4 or more almost always ruins a story. Arguments for 3 + There is always someone you would like to add + Satisfying your inner greed - Feels more like a Harem and less like equal partners who came to a mutual understanding - Logistics. You only have 2 Arms and thus only two sides people can sleep on and 2 arms to wrap around people. With 3 girls+mc there all together there will always be one left out. Three are also way more awkward in bed.

Now that i think about it Pokemon stories kind of run into similar problems like Harem ones. In Harem stories you end up either not having enough spacw to make all the mcs girls likable/fleshing them out and something that adds to the enjoyment of the story or they hijack the entire story and its mostly about Harem and the og plot gets pushed aside. Ofc there is also the option of just having 1-3 of them fleshed out and treating the others as collectables that are just there. Same issue with pokemons realy. Its hard to make them likable and give them screen time because there are to many of them and you just can't only wtite about them. Its somewhat better since they are pets and thus need less characterisation but can stil be a bit of an issue. Especially if you make them very human like as in Master of Tactics. There 4 of them are pretty bland. And that is with more time than i would like spend on slice of life sozial stuff and Alex being a very inteligent writer

You are right with what you said, and that is also why I am very unsure about having a 3rd wifu and staying with only two. As for the pokemon, I will have Mc have not as many pokemon but a few, giving them a good character. I am not a good writer, so I don't want to burden myself too much.

2-3 not harem , plz don't add harem tag you should have at least 5 love interests in any story tagged as harem anyways

Don't worry, I will only have max three LI no more and so far I am not convinced for the third and keep only two.

you don't get it , i said 2-3 love interests are not harem tag worthy ....it's better to write a single pairing instead i said if you add harem tag then the love interest should at least be 5 that's my own personal opinions ....so don't take it to the heart though
