Literally just every person possible trying to get MC into a relation. I mean every person too like some old lady to his 3 year old son. Honestly what else can you expect from a Chinese author..

LIKELol "nothing too surprising from an American" perhaps one shouldn't throw shade when you're prone to similar issues, also bit of a difference between commenting on this novel due to the overdone CN cliches rather than the actual people as opposed to you outright calling out someone due to their nationality.

For me, it's mostly the offhanded racist comments, degradation of beloved characters, unfounded superiority, and blind nationalism that are in most Chinese novels and fanfics that have caused my aversion. Kinda does that to you when most Chinese novels have the MC raping and degrading good, innocent women, then saying some BS like "I am above being judged by human morals". There are a lot of bad apples.

Yeah I agree with you on the fact that Chinese novels often have questionable statements but you shouldn't generalize

I understand that, so I added "There are a lot of bad apples." to my comment. My aversion is more towards china, their government, and Chinese novels, not Chinese people. Like with bad kids, you don't blame the child, but you blame the parents.
