I dislike how the mc reacts to the situation he’s in. Literally three generations of this dude’s family have been worked to death, to 0 benefit of any kind. Like, is starving to death better or worse than just working nonstop until your body collapses? Some slaves are treated better and exploited less. However 20 chapters in he has not yet changed his situation further than ‘basically a slave’ to ‘slightly more valuable slave’.

LIKEI’m not saying dude needed to be op instantly, there’s just a lot of decisions he made could have reasonably done differently. Like claiming to be the creator of the manual when they first met the general, turning in the manual to the forging department instead of letting the supervisor sell it, and a few other things. If he immediately made it clear to the general that the manual was his he wouldn’t need to be afraid of the supervisor, because the supervisor can’t complete the order he just agreed to without you.
Well it's true but he did it like that because of his cheat and to avoid to put himself in danger. Also in this world they have no real rules only the strong are right so they would have tortured him until death to get his craft technique because he is too weak to keep it.
Why would they kill him? You don't kill the chicken who lays the eggs. They obviously would keep him alive so he can make more stuff
Well it's a possibilites or they would kill him because creating new stuff is really hard and they won't take the risk of getting discovered because of him. It's a bit of a gamble wanting to keep it for himself would be the risky way and giving the recipe would be the "less risky" way. For someone without his cheat it would be better to take the first option perhaps but with his cheat the second way is better ( well it's my opinion)
True, do not forget how the supervisor show himself to be so far he would have force the Mc to complete the order and than probably killed him or put a even tighter restriction on him of he actually slapped his face in front of the general and told the truth. people can not forget he only able to go so far now in his growth since everyone looked down on him and did not take him serious enough. even the princess although she down right by the Mc she mainly gave those opportunities out of the misinterpretation of Mc and believe he someone skilled and can be controlled so he can be used by her and kingdom but in all reality no matter how magnanimous someone is with you, you should not shoot your self in the foot by standing out unless you can back your actions up with enough personal or borrowed strength
What's the difference then? They would still force him to work for them. The Supervisor would have heightened vigilance against him now. He would be monitored 24/7. Since he can't get strong he would die from overworking. Now tell me is his decision to remain low key still wrong?
If they don't know ur value they will be less bothered about u thus making it easier for u to escape and plan sth If they found out u can "lay eggs" they will be strict with u and watch u 24/7 What's better Choose urself!!!
