Both novel worth the time reading. The Outer Gods is a fanfic that focus on helping Klein to grow, while the Reader fanfic is really more focused on the world building and the mc's own problems. This story is focusing more on the details that's happening in the background in the original story, while also adding some more stuff of it's own. So if you want a fanfic that have the mc to go on his own adventure while still getting involved in the original story, then this book is for you.

Nah, 'starting as a reader' is a waste of time, why? Because MC is weak. MC can only follow the plot (Example Captain Dunn Smith dies miserably, old neil dies again.) Nothing is changed except for an extra tarot member (MC) who just likes to show off superficial knowledge. Also, The main plotline is completely omitted, and this novel is basically focusing on fillers. P.S: MC joins the tarot and becomes just another number... At least half of the fun in reading LoTM comes from the 'Mr.Fool+Tarot'. doesn't matter how good everything else is, as long as the MC doesn't have a sefirah or some kind of OP cheat/golden finger (his white eyes = trash) the entire story is a waste of time. You are just reading the same thing again with an extra MC.

Let me guess, you probably didn't read it further than chapter 250.

And also, Are you really expecting the mc to just change the story like that? are you serious? Do you even realize how dangerous Tingen is at the start of the story? That place is literally under the watch of 2 Gods, 1 king of angel, and 0-8. And the mc is only at sequence 8/7 at that time(i forgot). There's literally nothing he can do to change the story. If he were to go into Tingen at that time 0-8 will immediately notice his existence and Ince Zangwill will immediately try to eliminate him because he's an anomaly to his plans. The Mc is a smart and cautious person, he won't do anything that will pose a risk to his life, so to go to Tingen and try to change the story is a no go for him. And also don't forget that he has also been noticed by the God of Knowledge and Wisdom at the start of the story. He can't do anything that will make the God of Knowledge and Wisdom suspicious.

Just go and read 'outer god' in 100 chapters the mc changed more than the MC of this novel did in 400ch. you like this novel? fine, but dont come and say that its good, because it is not.

I just realize our arguments is getting nowhere, so let's just agree to disagree.

But for those who likes a weak to stronger mc, a smart and cautious mc, and a story where the mc has his own adventures, enemies and problems, but is still getting involve in the original events, then this story is perfect for you.
