So umm guys I'm a JJK nerd it's sort of a theory I came up with and i think it will help the author a bit. It's related to the strength of a sorcerer. I call this level of strength according to the words of Sukuna level of "True Jujutsu". There 3 sorcerer/curse that i think has reached that level and the key to reach this level is DEATH. I mean it's a pretty clear when you take the story all strong sorcerers or potentially strong sorcerers have this link like Megumi wanting to die to protect the people who are far more deserving to live, Itadori wanting to help others before he dies The major factor for this theory is this 1.Gojo gained enlightenment on cursed energy when he nearly died then later becomes op. 2. There are 2 cases where a soul of a dead person becomes a cursed spirit Which coincidentally is Sukuna the king of curses and Rika the queen of curses. So if the mc is going to reach that level or a power up I think u should use death as a key to reach it.

I know this is damn old and JJK is pretty much finished if not completely, but this has never really been talked about, at least to my knowledge. So I’m just gonna give my personal opinion. In my personal head cannon, death is where this “phenomena” shows itself most but doesn’t really have much to do with it. When a sorcerer reaches a state were they reach the end and run out of options, they can experience an ”awakening” as they put it. In this state they loose some sense of reality as they come to grasp with soemthing more. This is shown with Gojo coming to under Cursed Energy and RCT when he’s shown defeat for the first time, or with Megumi when his back is against the wall and he comes to understand himself enough to awaken a partial domain. In that moment, all else leaves their mind and they truely witnesses what otherwise evaded them. This could be similar to how Black Flashes focus the user and releases potential beyond them for the rest of the battle. it’s also stated Black Flashes gives the user a deeper understanding of cursed energy and this would lean much more into that aspect. The person who “awakens” would fall into a state of clarity as everything else leaves their mind, granting them their full potential (maybe a 3x amp or more) and permanent improvement with their abilities as they gain a new understanding.
