I love pokemon and there are a few fan fics that I like but this isnt one of them. The entire fanfic is info dump after info dump. When you read Its starts with the control freak mc telling rob every detail of his new reincarnated life for 5 chapters. This includes telling rob to make him the only child of his parents and that they will only be able to have a child when he decides he wants a sibling. telling rob to give him an op system and all information about the pokemon in this world. telling rob to give him powers and increase his talent in comprehension. After that its another info dump how megas work and how different the real pokemon world is from the game and anime. My point is that its a bad story because the auther doesnt understand how portray stuff through events in a story but through info dumps. the novel feels more like a resort pamphlet that tells you more about all the stuff thats going to happen when you read this novel, whats in the novel, and what makes it better than others. You can see this when he finally gets to the new world and right off the bat tells you about variants and mutliple megas and permanent megas without ever seeing a variant or telling you a story of how he came across this. He just knows … And that is why you should not waist your time and find a new novel.

I_Mstrbte_to_Hntai:Sure this story can have a couple of obnoxious info dumps. But most of the time they arent that bad, or cant even be called an info dump. Aside from that most of them are quite enjoyable, author doesn't make it intrusive and makes the explanation flow smoothly.
Idk what to say …. I really dont because if you look up what info dump means you would know that it means to halt the story to give readers more info than what they would care for. And for me that limit was that the first 10+ chapters that had all together at most 1 chapter of story and the rest was info about how the world works, personal talents, his parents living situation, etc. But for good mesure I took a screenshot
tf....reviews arent for haters, who dont like the idea of the novel or the novel type!!! others might like it, so dont destroy the rating of something an person work hard for. If the grammar should be bad or everything is just unlogical etc., than give a bad review, but not if you just personally dont like the story and the story type.
Illogical? In whose eyes? That sounds even more subjective than this is. I agree that illogical stories deserve a negative review, but I also believe stories with horrible info dumps also deserve negative reviews. Your entire comment can be explained by your first sentence, "reviews aren't for haters". Essentially, you like webnovels completely useless review system where every fiction ever has a 4.5 star review because the authors can delete any criticism they like. Seriously, why bother even reading the reviews if all you wanna hear is positive feedback.

Oh please! If we are talking about the fact that mc asked to be an only child , he also asked to be born from people who would have never been able to have a child otherwise . As for all the knowledge he asked for it's more like Google with lock function which only unlocks level by level as he grows stronger and can find info from when searched. There are many stories with op mc out there but this definately isn't one of them as the mc needs much much longer to become stronger with hardwork with the help of some cheats as terra is much larger with stronger pokemon than the world shown in anime and games. Even his space isn't all powerful or anything and can only upgrade when mc grows stronger through training . As for all the info about the world in the story I think it's necessary so that readers will be able to understand terra as it is little different from the Pokemon world in the anime and games especially with all the legendary being more powerful as the creaters of terra with there rules instead of weakling that were easily captured in the games .

There is also the fact that only pokemon fans would pick up this story so why all the extra explanation of stuff we already know. A better way to write this was to either make a synopsis chapter giving bulleted notes on how the world is different or only introducing the relevant info when he encounters said change.

honestly not hating on you or disregarding your opinion but I'm here to enjoy my time not read some science textbook about pokemon

True. The whole rob dynamic where the MC controls every aspect of his life through an omnipotent being is lazy writing that takes away from the story. Thank you for sharing your take on it. I almost wasted my time reading this garbage seeing that most of the reviews talked about how good it is - completely forgetting the fact that most users of this platform are shallow-minded infants who have never touched an actual book in their lives. Idiots can never appreciate subtlety.

I guess Pokemon fans won't like the info dumps. Surprisingly, I don't like fanfics that I followed to completion. I really enjoyed fics for Naruto, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, ASOIAF & now Pokemon. I watched some of the movies and series but I didn't watched all the fillers, movies, books etc so I'm not that against info dumps like this. I read One Piece, Bleach & Supernatural fics and all I can't immerse myself much to the story coz' the flaws are more apparent for me.
