Good story idea👍👍. I hope you will make the king more ruthless 👹👹to enemies and majestic as it is a medivial type of period and do not make it democratic only in The 17 the century. Also, try to let Mc participate in wars to develop a little warrior 🗡️🗡️personality also not only scholarly 👨‍🏫👨‍🏫type. Also in the story Mc is a king not a civil servant so he should not feel embarrassing when his subjects bow to him. Being overly kind to subjects will make them easily make selfish arguments and rebellion for power

Also don't make him a easy going King 👑 and beta type of character

His enemies should fear him

Thank you for your input. As part of my plan, I intended to let him make the mistake in order to help him grasp the reality that the strong often dominate the weak. This development will unfold in the upcoming chapters.

Will he emerge triumphant, his name forever etched in the annals of Sicilian glory as the rightful king who defied insurmountable odds, toppling both the Pope and the usurper?
