first of all i wrote a review becuz i was bored of always checking for new chapter in this fanfic and decided why not. anyway... everything is good for me tbh except updating of course cuz at this point u can even assume that its very likely that author dropped and altho i would like to not give the updating stability any stars at all but webnovel wont let me so yeah 1 star for this and the rest 5 star. If later u can edit reviews i will make it maybe 5 star review... maybe... anyway... again... For writing quality i was so immersed in the story i didnt notice mistakes or maybe just forgot but still shows that this aint an issue or THAT big of an issue since the words are words that exist Story development... I never really understood that story development but well the story is developing pretty good. No new stuff that logically should be here. I mean i saw some chineese write db fanfics(i dont have anything against them... just the nonsense sometimes is... too much) and believe me BOI they write whatever comes in their mind like understand that in dbz, they use ki. Ki is like the lifeforce of everything that exists in dbz as sometimes shown. It is also very violent and to train it u can only train ur body and fight mainly as meditation is mainly for ki control first and then mind battle simulation. So yeah idk where they even got the cultivation idea. Like dude in dragon ball its true that they have divine ki and gods and all that but still... in cultivation u cultivate to get more lifespan and even with divine ki like zamasu said a mortal is a mortal unless of course trained to be a god of destruction but even then ur life is tied to a kaioshin so there is no way db is cultivation style. also i like how u abondonned oolong i mean in lots(?)(personally forgot if there really was lots of novel of them reincarnating as baby goku or them being the same novel) novels they weirdly allow him to travel with them when its clearly unneccesary... anyway moving on For character design. The guy feels real like really real no jokes. Even tho he days he wont like bardock and gine he still cant help but feel affection for them which makes me happy. I also like that he doesnt like raditz like i have nothing against him but... lets face it. Raditz was shown to be cruel from the very begining and i wouldnt be surprised if he was a reincarnated frost demon or something like that. i mean his parents are different from the saiyans and goku too(altho he hit his head but still) and yet he forgot about his brother that was sent in the universe when he was a kid of about three or less years old and later even kidnapped his nephew. He also clearly didnt show any feelings of sadness for the demise of his parents so yeah its good he would eliminate him later. As for other characters, they feel the same as they were portrayed in the anime and also act like they would. Author did a good job for characters whether they are other characters or mc. Updating stability... well its almost a month since last chapter so i have only one thing to say author. Dont give up and update. The novel is good and believe me altho i dont criticise to the extreme like haters do, i still criticise lots of stuffs in detail as seen by this lengthy review and even the rant showed that it was actually a part of the review(for yours and those chineese db novels too) so plz update. world background... i never understood that one too. Is it the way the world works? if so then yes rhe way author made it work, altho i lack chapters but still, was right and nothing felt off. For example gohan seemed to be fated to die... i can agree with that tbh. Its not that i hate him but well he wasnt master roshi first of all. He didnt get or have anything that gave him immortality and it wasnt even mentioned that he did so logically he should had died which happened. For me he was a character that was only here to help mc have the abilities he missed in this life and then go as he would wither be forgotten or interactions with him would be very weird later as he doesnt have that much importance. Goku becoming so strong so early and so easily while inventing new moves out of nowhere? I mean like author said he had knowledge of the anime and he also has knowledge of other animes above all else making his thinking process out of the box as u can say so unless u r the dumbest of the dumbest MFs out there, then there is no way u r retard enough to not be able to do this. Lets not forget goku is a saiyan and possibly one of the most hardcore training junkies amongst the saiyans to ever exist since even vegeta stays with his family and does things with them as sometimes mentioned or shown in the anime. So yeah mc has every right to easily obtain power. If it aint questions like this then there is no need for quesyions about world background... its a fanfic and unless author changed some things like how ki works then background is good enough for now. Overall its good and hope author updates soon cuz it would be a shame for such a good fanfic to be dropped
