Writing this review after making it through 6 chapters because... it's just bewildering. It's all over the place. Seriously, like... what? So far it's been a haphazard pile of ideas thrown together into a pile with no apparent attempt to maintain any sort of coherence. Just slapping together every possible myth and cramming them into the first few chapters doesn't a good story make. The first chapter by itself was all over the place. No idea about whether the MC is actually powerful, though presumably he is? There's no attempt to make any sort of understandable timeline, with a description of him arriving in some uninhabited part of the world only a few years before, and then wandering a bit before becoming the master of a city. But that he also spent two years turning the place around and having to build a magic academy. But ALSO that the second day after he arrived in the world he somehow created a system and built a magic academy. And even though all this happened in the last "few" years, the students in the academy rarely saw the MC in ten or twenty years. Also it's mentioned he has a couple pets, but that's like a single line, thrown in for who knows what reason. Oh and he can't be bothered to teach anymore since he didn't really want students in the first place, but they just started showing up. So he filled the empty library with knockoff bad fiction novels that he'd just thrown together and told the students to just go read those. That's the first chapter. Then it starts to get weird. Why bother including well known gods if you're gonna make a mess of them. The disjointed hodgepodge of myths thrown in (Zeus is Odin, but not really, he just did what Odin did, but then the name Odin is slipped in for some reason, Thor is the son of Zeus and/or Odin and/or whatever, and Loki is the god of fire, and Satan is here too just to join the party) is just so jarring that it took me completely out of the story trying to figure out what was even going on. But that seems to be a theme here, having to stop reading to go back a couple paragraphs just to try to figure out what is even happening or who is who or who is what or who is even a thing.

Novel had potential but author as everyday put and mix mythologies together and mixed them up , it became 😅 3rd class piece. World background is not well managed, character design is also not much better, I was the one of supporters after reading summary but now all expectations 🖕

Over all it Seems pretty promosing

First off the Synopsis is completely wrong. Whoever wrote that didnt even read 3 paragraphs into the story. Second off we legit know nothing about that Flanders guy. And lastly is the chief god Zeus or Odin now??? Can you not switch around names from different mythologies please??

The ones star is solely for Translator's efforts. But Seriously, readers from all over know this is an Chinese app. It has novels written by Chinese people. And still they come here to read. So why bother changing the names of characters in novel just so they feel a bit more Western? And after going through all those efforts you have basically messed up the story and it's beginning. But still Webnovel shamelessly picks such third rate novels. Is it because you are trying to promote original authors internationally?
