Ohh they follow, bro think about it, you have a energy that can bend the laws of nature, buuut they can be exausted, qi, mana, life force or faith all of that energy you have a limit, you exange, you drain, you store, but never multiply of nowhere. Even in some magic or cultivation novels we read about magic tide, qi exaustion of the world, low energy high energy worlds.
