Have you ever read one of the many, many novels where the whole population of Earth is suddenly transported into a survival video game like world and thought "This is okay but what if the MC was human garbage? The kind of human garbage that is usually one of the minor villains in any other story. That would be fun!" Then you are in luck because this is the story for you! Follow along with the MC on this journey. He goes from a regular college student to a mostly irredeemable human being. At least by the end of the free chapters. I'm not reading past that. If you are the kind of person that thinks that the strong should exploit the weak then you might like it. MC doesn't d o anything to horrible overall but it's like reading the rise of a mob boss without any charisma. "I've never disliked an MC more!" raves this reviewer!

Mm... What about ancient worlds? Our history doesn't exactly have the brightest record for perfect human beings. I do admit, the MC becomes quite irritating, given how he belittles one and bullies them into his team. Society suffering my posterior, he's only in college.

Not surprised that the MC became worse. Sorry that you lost money on it. We all hope that a story will be good after the paywall. Personally I've started to only pay if there's at least one of these things: an author that is responding to comments, a story that's original or has good writing, the comments posted are as entertaining as the story. Otherwise I'm leaving the story alone or checking another site where maybe you don't have to pay for the story. Also I've learned my lesson about not paying ahead for chapters unless I'm past 100 chapters because some stories shift from okay to terrible real quick.

Whats happening to webnovel. Once upon a time, I looked forward to my Fridays because of the great books that came out every week. As time passed, the quality dropped slowly, but as Webnovel already had all the good books, this was understable. At some point the gems will run out, and you will have to wait for new ones to be made. But nowadays, the quality of the books webnovel are putting out every week are absolute trash. Absolute garbage. mindless plots, tropes and cliches that have been recycled a thousand times over. I would have to go back months to find a batch of books that had a character with the slightest depth to it. Please Webnovel, give us some good books.

I'm getting tired of all these x100, aquired the devil himself as a summon, granted 100 billion soldiers, etc novels. these novels where the protagonist is overpowered from the very beginning yet the choices they make are questionable. why grant such power to idiots of such high degrees. and the fact that web novel is picking these novels despite readers for the past several trial weeks absolutely shtting on them and them still releasing such novels is arguably a good decision or not.
