That's not the case for most stories. You are usually supposed to learn more about him during his adventures, not in an information dump. The backstory I gave is also left vague in most places, as to be actually explored later.

I have read allot of novel (LN,WN,Manga,Manhwa and ff) not all story explains or introduces the main protagonist from very start of the story
