Well for starters, they removed spirit stones and replaced them with coins and fast passes. The priviledge system existed back when spirit stones were around and it was great, but then they added coins and fast passes all of a sudden. I still remember using some SS to buy priviledge for The Otherworldly Evil Monarch (I was able to read 15 chapters in advance if I remember correctly), leaving me with less than twenty SS, then they suddenly decided to remove SS. I had less than 20 ss at that time and as you all know, fp can’t unlock priviledge chapters. Webnovel must’ve known since it was just a few days after the start of the month, the time when most would use their ss to buy priviledge, so replacing ss with coins at that time was really a sh*tty move from Webnovel! Sure, replacing ss with coins might be so that more money goes to the author... ...which I highly doubt! With how Webnovel works, I bet you less than 1% of those profits will actually go to the author.

I really don't see the point of reading a taster novel that may not be chosen and only has 5 chapters. Not to mention, considering how short each chapter in Qidian tend to be...
