I personally have never been a fan of fanfiction though I I find one that sounds interesting I'll always give it a shot. Sadly this falls pray to what most fanfics fall prey to in my opinion, and that's a lack of faith to the original personalities of the characters in favor of the authors portrayal in service to the story they are writing. I can accept that a new character will disrupt how events unfold, thus change the timeline a bit but I cannot accept when an author takes characters and subverts what/who they are and remakes them into someone completely different.

LIKEAgreed, also personalities are bound to change when they are in close proximity to Yuna for years, the original ones and ones that have not been corrupted are very faithful to the source material, they just end up getting broken by Yuna eventually. I find it amazing that people like this 'reviewer' go to the fanfic section and give low reviews because he/she does not like fanfics... Makes one wonder if he/she goes into a steak house, orders the biggest steak they have and then complains and gives bad reviews because he/she is vegan.
Numloc:Sorry to say that but that's what a fanfic is, the events and personality of chara will change because it's the whole point of a fanfic if there is no diff isn't it better to go to the original??
I want to clarify that I’m not saying they have to copy and paste the original material just be faithful to the original characters personalities. How would these characters truely interact with your mc. Kurama would never have behaved the way he does here. At this point in time he is nothing but hatred and resentment personified. It took YEARS of watching and interacting with Naruto for him to mellow out even a little but here it’s over the course of one conversation. The same outcome of kurama being sealed in her instead of Naruto can still be achieved without altering the characters behavior.
Magus_Of_Flower:This type of guys like to read fanfic where MC always will be side character to the main storyline and leach of the entire oc plot like a parasite..*Burg*(sorry :P..hate that type of fanfic..)
Wasn't Kurama literally scared of her at the moment of her rebirth and she end up talking to him or did you not pay attention? That fear gradually developed to trust and the fact that she was extremely old and could relate to him made that trust even stronger so obviously Kurama will change some if not allot, I mean honestly Naruto really did nothing to really show Kurama that he could trust him in the original until he showed his interest in actually learning about him and his siblings, the fact that he had no desire to use him only for power and his willingness to help his Kurama siblings which Yuna herself did the same thing simply by being herself which in turn carried over to her little brother who even with his traits he picked up from her still had his core personality.

Lol I find the hate my comments are getting hilarious. I'll have you know there's a number of fanfics I've given glowing reviews for. I don't care what anyone says if you are an individual who's lived eons filled with hate and someone make you feel instinctual fear, especially if you're an individual use to being the most powerful being in the room it naturally builds immediate distrust. I have a great love for literature, I love originality, but I believe some faith to your source material is required for a fanfic. I think of one in particular fanfic within the reincarnated as a slime setting that's a perfect example. The mc is reincarnated as a phoenix and is met by Rimuru and Rimuru being who he is takes her in names her and subsequently enters sleep mode. The mc describes Hakuro as the demon instructor he and many of the other characters stick very much to the source material. The mc eventually goes off on their own to do their own thing as events in tempest has minor impacts here and there in the story. Non of the "mc is a side character leaching off the source material" nonsense I'm accused of enjoying so much( nor do I go looking for fanfics just to bash on them). I'll freely admit that I'm perhaps being to critical since kurama is my favorite character in the franchise but I don't necessarily think that means I'm wrong. I'll also admit that I dropped this novel here and probably didn't give it the chance it deserved. Still opinions are just that opinions, no need to get so worked up. If you disagree then ok you disagree.
