Well, it is of good enough quality without the usual prescribed bigotry, so far anyway. That said, nothing seems to stand out either. I think it becomes less attractive since we get an excess of pet novels lately.

Really nice. No face slapping which is a huge plus, well in the first 10 chapters. MC wakes up in a parallel world that has undergone a spiritual change 100 years ago, causing beasts and dimensional rifts to pop up everywhere. The MCs cheat is that he can get the description and elements of anything he focuses on, and take elements from these things, if you want an example, read the book, So far so good, nothing crazy but the little fox part was cute. Would recommended.

Pretty average. I have finished reading Starting Contracts with Sprites. Both, this and that novel, are in the same niche with having pets for fighting. After reading 15 chapters only, I grew tired of this novel for having similar starting points with only the difference with the system abilities. It still didn't riled up my interest. I will give this an average score for at least making a solid novel but can't really get my interest to keep reading it. Comparing it with food, you can eat it but it doesn't have that umami flavor that will keep you from having second serving.

I mean, it's not a bad novel, certainly. Kind of fluffy and casual, but there's nothing wrong with that, and the pet is indeed quite cute. Just, kind of slow, not very long, and not especially interesting. Also, just in case you're like me and it's a turn off, the combat is SUPER pokemon. MC is literally just a cheerleeder shouting "Dodge that thing they just said and use your only combat skill!" and whatnot.
