i enjoyed reading the first few chaps but later ones are a bit irritating. quality wise it's well written and have an interesting start that I'd love to read more about. the mc is my only problem with this fic really. when I first started reading, the mc seemed like a smart anti hero type of guy who plans before thinking. but soon though, he became a generic goody two shoes who goes into danger without a second thought and risks his life for others. and just like every goody boy he becomes a passive bitch in front of a beautiful female character, like letting them physically wound you for no reasons. i know yoruichi didn't mean anything by it, and author-san probably wrote it for comedic purpose but it's still extremely annoying and makes you dislike the character. I'll probably drop it if this continues. hopefully he gets back to his senses instead of taking idiotic risks and going after girls without any self respect for himself.

In my opinion those kinds characters are for animation.

you're kidding right? name me one single fanfic with an anti hero mc of this quality. not some random bogus edgy sh*t written by a 14 year old virgin while strocking his dick, but a genuinely good fic with a villian or anti hero mc, and writting quality atleast as good as this one. if you could name a few new fics meeting this criteria then I'll be incredibly grateful to u, seriously. those fics are still too rare to be called generic; they are like a gem in the middle of a pile of trash. when i found this fic, i thought it to be one of those gems but the mc turned me off.

I'm not here to argue on a fic i haven't read in a while. as for fairness of my review, i hope you read the whole thing where i complimented the author and all that stuff. those are all my fair thoughts and opinions on this fic without being toxic or writing an angry rant. as I said, i like the writing style and quality, as well as the plot, but didn't like MC's character; extremely compliant and caring towards the canon characters without any context, and extremely passive and submissive towards yoruichi. there's nothing unfair about it. you like caring, heroic and goody MC's? great, it's your tastes. i dont, and that's it. we have our opinions, and we can state them however we want. i didn't add lies or exaggeration in my review, i said it as i saw it.

This fic is good to enjoy and refreshing from mindless power grabs and lemons I just hope he doesnt settle too much and just become akin to a slice of life plot armor OC
