Good potential. I don't understand why cultivation is not pit either in a more prominent position on the story of in a less one. What is the goal of this system? Is it for the main character to become strong or is it for him to develop a fortress? Because on the first 40 chapters, the main character completed plenty of missions, but no reward made him stronger..

The system in this novel is a support. Rather than novels like Astral Pet Store where the MC is pretty much following the whims of his system; the system here was a game concept the MC was making in his previous life on what I assume was a planet similar to Earth. From my understanding, the MC's concept was put into reality by the immortal fragment the Evil Emperor was attempting to refine for his own use. The MC is getting quests in the way that he intended it to do so in his previous life. He also said in earlier chapters that he never completed the system in his previous life; which made him worry about the expansion of his fortress. Think of it as the system here is a supporting treasure refined by the MC. It supports him, rather than controls him. The quests are things he put in place and imagined to exist, and the immortal fragment took that as the baseline and put it into reality.

The only direct ways system helps in cultivation are: providing plenty of spiritual aura and modifying best cultivation skills and even giving him virtual enemies to practice fighting. No bottlenecks exist for him but he needs to cultivate like everyone for progress.
I agree with your answer, but what are the main stages of cultivations? Are they themselves subdivided? What is the difference between each stages? Can they fly? Can they manipulate the elements? This is a cultivation world, but we don't know anything about it..
There are cultivation systems: Martial Artists: They are like warriors and grow with fighting. Taoism: Spells and even flying swords (standard mage), Confucianism: they have their own way of fighting with words, ink and all, Demonic : Refining blood of a demon (as in monster like dragon who also have their own cultivation system), Buddhism: Standard Buddhism style fighting. Martial artists won't be using elemental spells but they can use things like thunder sword. All these systems have seperate realms which is commonly divided numerically as in in first realm, third realm etc. Every cultivation system has a name for the realm too like say ninth realm of Taoism, Yang god.
