After finishing the trial read(Gotta go fast), I can say the novel is going fairly good. I can't say it's fantastic; nor can I say it's bad. So far, the novel is centered around the development of the MC's fortress, and the troubles he goes through in building it up. Within the fortress, MC is invincible. The issue is, if he leaves the fortress, he is very weak at the moment. Outside the fortress he will have no power. Only his subordinates will have power, but once they leave he has no control. Characters are alright, they have their own personalities. Some of them do overlap, but I can see development for them that couldn't be done in 60 chapters, which is a difficulty trial reads have. From what I can tell the novel will be fraught with misunderstandings about the influence the MC has outside his fortress's influence. It might get repetitive, but all in all it is an entertaining concept and I enjoyed reading the first 60 chapters. I can see the novel being successful. The writing is stable around the intended concept. I do wish, however, that the author went more in detail on the cultivation systems; at least gave us a glimpse at the skills used and what the MC's body is up to. 60 chapters in and I forgot the MC has a real body. P.S. The cliffhanger on chapter 60 makes me want to go jump off the cliff and read the MTL.
