I think it’s pushing it a bit to call world domination inherently racist. Risk is a really popular board game but no one ever called the end winner racist because all the soldiers at the final board state are a single color. If anything it would be nationalist, but even using this form of descriptor is pushing it a bit since world domination is not an inherent evil. Even absolute governments like monarchies are not inherently evil, it’s just that they can become evil a lot easier than other ruling systems due to fewer checks and balances. While I would like fresh nations to start out with, I think the main reason authors keep the original nations is that it’s easier to use real history than to create lore, spend a lot of time explaining lore, and then realize it’s not even that important since the MC took over that country eventually.

if we go by your reasoning nothing is evil. after-all everything starts neutral at their very root and everything has their own probability of going bad. you cant stop a medicine from being labelled hazardous just because it has only 70% chance(relatively easy) of poisoning the consumer but not 100%. wanting to have all the power over the world arises out of qualities like excessive greed, pride, desire, insecure feeling e.t.c...........entities with these kind of qualities will first destroy everything around them under the illusion of self enrichment and then collapse upon themselves like a dying star.

Its much closer to The World Online than The Lords empire so far. The Lords Empire took a brain dead cliche wuixa after the interesting start. Mc super Op destroying armys and fighting other super leveled enemys which he beats. Also huge amount of haram and r*pe, with different senerios in which he takes over a power house. The World Online was more kingdom/army building within the game. Sadly the novel ended.

what you say is true what you say is also false only Chinese stories I've read which involve domination that are not racists well their government forced them too stop writing hahaha I know that most authors are forced to be pro China like if I was in a game like world where I can possible conquer it I would make my own nation FK Australia FK America FK China Japan use stay cool have fun then again I'm too lazy and open a pub instead

Honestly, it's just a little patriotic if the author is good and considers nations history etc... besides the one they were born and raised in, it's good for example World Online although you may say it favours china of course it does but if you look how the author portrays America and England you can see that he tries to balance everything out. but come on would you end up reading a kingdom building novel if the mc is on losing side? and weak? nope you wouldn't so it doesn't really matter. the only thing that puts me off usually is the racism between china and Japan. but I usually find Korean novels even more racist, ones I've read so far have alot of supremacy in it

sure you can say that but thats only because you dont have any power once you get power you would do the exact same all of us humans would do those things and deep down we all know it also dint go discussing stuff like this in a story its a novel go do that in sites made for it or something
