The MC is another itachi who is idiotically loyal to the village (although itachi has a stronger reason). Especially after what a village elder supposedly did to him. I just don't like that passive, pathetic MC who lets others control his life to any extent, following orders because he feels loyalty to the village is fine to a degree. , loyalty goes both ways. He has already been betrayed by the people (Yes, Danzo says since he is protected by the people). 1 star in Story Development and Character Design

do you live in a country if so you pay taxes follow the laws and generally move on with your life and hope for the best. despite that you know your leadership is not honest. makes bad decision. in general you don't betray your country for a few bad decision . take America for instance every country has this department America has the Cia. konoha has root. Britain has mi5. or is it mi 6. now having said all of that. if your argument was why does a city have a foreign secret service that is not loyal to the daiymono misspelled. that would actually be a more valid argument. because no literature i have read not even fan fiction ever bring up how servents of the daiymo use the shinobi. other than as a free pool of talented killers.
I understand you, but the mc in a passive secondary character, you can kill the master and he will marry you. The story now makes no sense and the plot holes are huge. There is no character development, he discovers that he is being manipulated, great and now I will be a teacher to teach my secrets to the people who manipulate me.
