The novel is very interesting prior to chapter 20 with an interesting mc and a bunch of mystery regarding his past etc. At chapter 20 however, the mc's appearance and personality does a complete flip, going from a warm, caring and carefree guy who even talks to spirit beasts before turning them into his spirits into someone who starts slandering and slaughtering spirit beasts for calling him a human and gaining an anime system because "he's the only blessed guy in all of history" Chapter 20+ has the mc sell his own spirits and spirit rings that he's gained until this point in favour of cliche demonic system bloodlines from Seven Deadly Sins, and instead of using DD systems like martial souls and hunting spirit beasts for rings and spirit bones now uses anime powers and xianxia treasures, while selling spirit bones and buying rings off his system, novel went from a good 4.5/5 for me to a 1.8/5 for me (The only reason it's not 1.0 is due to original DD2 having a great background.) Oh and MC also pretends that the person he was before gaining his system was his brother so all relationships he built up until that point also go poof and are replaced by a bunch of lies about how he's now someone else from a hidden clan that owns a bunch of divine treasures that doesn't exist.
