There are some spoilers in the review. Proceed with caution, you have been warned. The premise of the story was interesting, however everything else is just thrown at random. The MC should have been one of the strongest mages in the army, but upon reincarnation he became a "normal" idiotic teenager. Another point that the author totally butchered is the MC mana capacity. The MC said that he discovered that when a person under 16 drains their mana completely, their storage doubles. The MC has been doing it from his first day, until it took 5/6 months to empty his mana storage and he could recover the used mana in a short span of time (I don't remember correctly, but it should be 2 hours). However the first fight he had, he only used 3/4 spells and then he was drained. Let's not talk about his decisions during the said fight. He made a lot of mistakes, something that should have been impossible to do for someone who destroyed the White House and the Senate of the USA in the same day. Another this to note is the reaction of the school after a terroristic attack (that happened at night), they simply told the students to return to their dorm and sleep, and said students obeyed with no complain. Illogical right? My only advice for the author is to rewrite the story with more logical and realistic decisions and reactions.

The OP is talking about the first bits of the story that the author knows it has plot holes in it, but does nothing to fix them. He says this makes the author look lazy seeing how he did not deny knowing plot holes in the first 20 or so chapters but did nothing to correct them. sure he fixed them, (I assume from your comment) but he did this later in the story and not when the story started.

Purewiz96:Not sure if you actually read the first comment that the author posted to this thread. If you had you would read that they do get fixed in later chapters. As someone that is fully caught up on this book I would know that he is not lying.

Another thing that arouses doubts is the high rating. I'm quite sure a lot of other readers would have given a negative rating, but after scrolling for a little the majority of the reviews are at least 4 stars. Suspicious...

The majority of my readers read past the first 20 chapters. It's a well known fact that the pacing of those is off and there are plot holes but they are covered up in the later chapters

You think my novel would make it consistently into the trending ranks if I had fake reviews? People forgive authors for mistakes in early chapters on this site and read for the story progression. If you come in looking to hate something then you will hate it. It's only natural. My readers are amazing so i don't appreciate you discrediting them. If you have a problem with my novel then take it up with me and don't slander my readers.

You know that your story has this big flaw and you did nothing to correct it?? You started writing this story 6 months ago and the first 20 chapters are still subpar. You should already know that the most important thing in most things in life is the first impression. No matter how good the story would be, if the start is really bad a lot of readers would not continue reading. And if an author tells me that I just need to push past the bad start and then the story would be good, I would not be enthusiastic about it. Since the author knows that that part is bad and still did nothing to remove the plot holes and mistakes, this behavior portraits laziness. I don't care much about orthographic and grammar mistakes, a lot of times I try to help the author by correcting said mistakes. However logical fallacies, especially if there are a lot of them, make it impossible for me to continue reading a story.

First of all I didn't insult any reader. You should read more carefully what is written. What I have written is: there are bound to be other readers that did not like the many plot holes in the story, therefore there should be more negative reviews. And you can't say it's normal, in 54 reviews there is no review with less than 3 stars (except mine). Second I didn't come here to hate, I come here to read a good story. Since the story had a good premise but was ruined by plot holes, I wanted to express my opinion of your work.

Seeing as the author isn't denying the messedup plot but refuses to fix it I feel that I dodged a bullet wasting time reading this. Ty
