I have been contemplating whether or not to and would like input from anyone that has an opinion about it

if you can write a harem where it doesnt spoil the story, each harem member has their own personality, each member is useful to MC and is not overly dependent on him, each member gets enough screen time, they spend time together for the most part, shouldnt be forgotten in background or become irrelevant once their arc is over If you can justify above points go for a harem of 3-4 max 5 else dont. its gonna disappoint everyone

do you know why I think going for one woman when writing a long novel is bad bcuz the novels usually at one point gets boring with usual similarity in plot. to me adding another woman usually increases the plot dynamics with her character development

Well I will try to keep it interesting and both sides have interesting origins and abilities so won't bore the reader

let's face it almost all Chinese novels have the same sequence to the extent that all you are looking forward to is the powerups and when he gets his next harem member
