I think most of us have read enough apocalypse and revenge novels already. Still, I kind of like this story. I think it's because it takes an exciting turn by making the MC crossdress as a guy from the start? Everyone crushes on her, even her old female enemies, her despicable half-sister, and the male lead. It creates funny misunderstandings, especially when the enemies try to use her by seducing her. Now that It's Not Easy To Be A Man is catching up to the paused raws, I need something else to fill the void. This won't come even close (it would be very difficult to, as ITETBAM is a top 5 novel in rankings) but at least it has some of the tropes that I liked in Ling Lan's story. Aside from the crossdressing, cold MC with a magic space, there is also her five male companions, who share a strong, brotherly bond and readily accept her as their littlest 'brother'. This novel is entertaining enough, so I'll keep an eye on it. Note: The chapters are extremely short, which is a plus for coin users, who'll have to pay less, but maybe a minus for people who use fast passes only, since it might not get you the most out of your limited number of passes.

As someone who’s a ******** fan of Madame Ru’s It’s Not Easy To Be A Man After Traveling To The Future, this review has piqued my interest as I’ve been looking for a novel that would replace that novel temporarily while waiting for the author’s updates. Is this one’s RAWs already finished or is it still ongoing?

If you're looking for something to replace INETBAM, I'm not sure that this is the right choice. It does share some of the tropes, but the writing isn't on the same level. The story is still ongoing, I believe, and you might still enjoy it. If you're looking for something on a higher level, I recommend Doomsday Wonderland. DW and INETBAM are my top favorites with strong, badass female leads who don't have a more powerful male lead saving them. They're both really good, just that DW is pretty unknown on this site (although it's ranked #4 for female lead novels on the Chinese raws site). Please give it a chance. It might become your next favorite too.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve been trying to find similar novels since I started reading INETBAMATTTF. I’ll definitely check that novel out.

This novel is a long shot away from filling it. Besides INETBAM has continued again, though the chapter updates are at a slower pace since the translations have caught up with the Chinese raws.

Jun Wu Xie novel is also good the male lead may be a bit OP but he actually respects our JWX instead of forcing on her... (later the relationship gets more interesting) best to read to chapter 600 then see if you want to stop or not.

Apocalypse Days: I Rule with Foresight and a Powerful Son

You’d think seeing the future would give me a head start on surviving the apocalypse. I had it all planned—until everything I knew shattered when my husband sacrificed himself to save me and our son. Now it’s just me, my three-year-old son Leo, and my cursed gift of foresight that only seems to kick in when it’s nearly too late. I’m doing my best to keep us safe, to find food, to make some kind of plan— “Mommy?” I glance down, trying to ignore the tug on my pant leg as I focus on our supplies. “Not now, Leo. Mommy’s thinking.” “Mommy!” I sigh and finally look down. My three-year-old is standing there, clutching… I blink. “Leo, where did you get a knife?” He shrugs, grinning like it’s the most natural thing in the world. My heart stutters. “No, really. Where did you find that?” I try not to laugh. I mean, he’s three. Maybe he just—found it somewhere? But the next day, it’s a water bottle. Then, a tiny flashlight, somehow with batteries still inside. I don’t even know what else; he’s pulling things out one by one with the pleased grin of a kid who’s just figured out his favorite game. Well, we may just survive this mess after all. Now, if only the universe could have spared me from him. I don’t even know his name, but I know his type: tall, broad, and annoyingly handsome, with an air of calm control that’s out of place in this chaos. Ex-military, if I had to guess, with a voice that’s just as infuriating as his smirk. The man has a habit of showing up at the worst—or best—possible times, with a gun at the ready and secrets buried as deep as those bright green eyes. I mean, he’s probably useful, but I’m trying to keep my eyes on the prize here: survival. For Leo and me. Because, foresight or no foresight, nothing is guaranteed in this new world—except the fact that people like him are trouble.

Pepper writes stories that span the gamut from humorous to heartfelt, however the common theme is crossing boundaries. Pepper's unique stories often tackle taboo topics such as mental illness and homelessness. Readers will find themselves questioning their own sense of right and wrong, attraction and desire. In addition to writing, the author is also an artist, an introverted recluse, a self proclaimed empath and a foodie. Pepper Pace can be contacted at: pepperpace.author@yahoo.com Carmella was still a teen when the Motherships first appeared dotting the skies over the Earth. For years the world tried to normalize while the silent Motherships hovered. And then THEY arrived, promising that they meant no harm. But within ten years eighty percent of the world’s population would be wiped out. Including everyone that Carmella loved. The ‘blobs’ took those that survived to another planet called Earth Two. But Carmella was an Earthling and she would kill the hated monsters that had destroyed her world before she would allow them to take her. Carmella settled into a lonely existence on the now desolate earth—all alone except for her wolf. And then she sees it hiding, watching her—maybe to capture her and remove her from the only thing that she can still call her own--her world. But Bilal is not like the other Centaurians. He is fully aware that he will never be like the humans that he’s grown up with. Earth is the only home he knows and he feels that he is just as much an Earthling as any human. Shunned by his own kind, Bilal travels the Earth trying to capture an essence of the life that he could never be a part of and a world that would never accept him. When he sees the black woman living all alone his curiosity gets the best of him. He cannot stop himself from watching her, and secretly growing more attached to the human. Bilal’s quest to become human brings him to a decision that will forever change the course of human-kind. In an attempt to ease the woman's loneliness--or perhaps a need to recreate himself, Bilal impregnates the woman with his Alien DNA.
