Stop romanticizing rape. Stop making girls fall in love with their rapists. No one gives a damn if the rapist is rich. I lasted a fat 11 chapters and really couldn't read anymore. You're better off reading something else. First, sloppy writing. No intros and we're just thrown in a world of characters and schemes. Second, RAPE. Domineering trash ML. Forces himself on her, embarrasses her in front of others, threatens her if she dares abort/take morning after pill. Really, if it's not consensual *** it's RAPE. FL falls for the whole aphrodisiac scheme and gets caught by the "bf", "friend" and whole family etc. Yada yada. Been there, done that. Read something else people.

LIKEElizaA, I've tried reading the book from your perspective but in my view of angle, it is something completely different. Although the FL did get raped, so what? She just cant go back in time and restart everything. So, wisely, she started moving on. Instead of remebering being raped, she just decided to live with it. If it were me in her situation, I would also move on. Yes, I may sound crazy and I know rape is a big crime, but what could you do in a situation like that? If you just lived in the past where you got raped, your present life, health, and mental health would slowly worsen. Although it would take some time to move from it, at least the ML is taking responsibility and caring for her, even though she completely forgot about him and even dated his brother. So in my opinion, this is the best rape can get. And the rapist being rich doesnt have a lot to do with it. Also, for a professional, this book's writing may be horrible, but for a novice it is at least something acceptable in a commoner's eyes. Although it could use a bit of work, it's the effort that counts. If I'm offending anyone here, which I probably am, I apologize but I cannot keep quite about my opinions. People should speak their mind! Just becasue a lot of people agree with one side, it doesnt mean others have to go with it to, just for APPEARENCES SAKE. Author, you have done a good job and your work, although a bit ordinary, is still good. Keep up the hard work! 😊 P.S. Just because a few people dont like your book, doesnt mean you have to stop writing. People write mostly for two reasons. 1. For enjoyment and 2. For the readers. I'm hoping you write for yourself and your enjoyment. If writing is your passion, then keep writing.
I support your opinion Selery, y'all should give this story a chance because it is worth it. The fact that someone posts something on review doesn't mean that you should judge it right away, it is your duty to read and give a judgement afterwards. ElizaA only read 11 chapters and she just concluded, read all the paragraphs and give a better judgement afterwards.
Usually I don't reply to others' opinions, but I have to highly disagree with your view on rape. I know a couple victims myself and it's not something you just magically "move on" from and pretend it didn't happen. You're treating it too lightly. Rape is more than physical harm and affects the person in every which way. Rape is a CRIME. What in the world is "best rape"? That's such a big offense to rape victims. Should they be grateful just because they survived? Is FL "lucky" to have her rapist dote on her? I think she'd rather not have been raped. And yes, the rapist being rich has everything to do with it. He wouldn't be ML if he couldn't provide for her. Woo her. If he wasn't rich and powerful, he would be in JAIL for his crime. So while you may think the ML is great, in my eyes, he's a criminal. No matter how well he treats her, it won't make up for the harm he placed on her...out of his own selfishness. He KNEW that she wasn't in her right state of mind and absolutely took advantage of that. Again, y'all are free to read anything you want. You can even be this book's #1 fan if you want. I'm not here to attack you on your preferences, I'm just here to defend my stance on rape.
