Hi Sora. I never imagined you to write a simple love story. Guess ur just trying to relax ur brain from thinking up complex plots n twists🤣 The story looks good. A contract marriage with the CEO is a very common topic but in ur hands I m sure it will turn out great. Good luck and please make this story a lot more fluffy than usual.😍

😂😂😂 Is it that unusual for me to write something light? (Looks back at my other novels: er, right, it's all far more complex 🤣) As for fluffy, I'm doing my best 😊 Thank you for your support 💙

Sigh. That was so satisfying. 😩 I’ve been a fan of Author Sora since I’ve read her first novel, Flower Bloom on the Battlefield. I must say, I always feel very satisfied, although I do want some epiloguee with little Feng Mian or Little Zhang Liang 🤣 Anyway, I really love Feng Mian’s character. She’s strong. Very decisive. She knows what she wants. She’s very rational. She may look weak but she can also be fierce if you cross her bottomline. Her character is very likable. Zhang Mian’s character, although he’s cold, he’s also very decisive. I must say that Feng Mian and him is really a match. It’s like Feng Mian is a female version of Zhang Liang without the rich trainings 😂 That’s how sync they are. The family was very lovable. I enjoyed every interaction and every banter. The story was very very light, which I really really love. There were totally no misunderstandings, there were no scheming family members. No drama, no angst. Seriously, it was that light, and I love it. The couple were so honest with each other, they were so rational with their relationship and they were also very decisive. They were always considerate of one another. It was a very harmonous relationship. There was also no draggy scenes, there was no prolonged conflicts. Everything was just so perfect for me. Knowing that this is the first time that Author Sorahana wrote a fully centered romance novel, I’d say it was very very successful. If I didn’t know, I’d never even thought that it was her first time. I’m so sad that I have to say goodbye to both Zhang Liang and Feng Mian. I always look forward to their interactions. They were so adorable. Anyway, overall, if I could rate this novel more than 5 stars, I’d do it. It was that good. And I’d just want to say again:

Wew, romance novel from Sorahana! What to expect? 1) The MC is so relatable. I'm not an artist like her but reading about her struggling with managing her time, whether you're a worker or a student, is something I think everyone does. She goes through waking up late, catching up on a deadline, waiting for feedback... I like how I can empathize with her. 2) I like how the ML isn't overhyped? I do hear about his reputation, rumors about him and gossip... but the writing hardly dwells on that? Instead of telling me these things over and over again, the book lets me get to know him as his own character. Those things were just stated because they exist but they don't try to convince that these are his qualities. (Even though the ML says they're all true lol.) 3) The romance is pacing steadily. There are moments where you'd expect fluff--those situations where the FL and ML are forced/given the chance to bond intimately but... they react in a realistic way. For some of these situations, I am not sure if the ML is doing some things on purpose when it might not be necessary since it's an arrangement... but knowing about his family's tradition made me wonder if he'd rather have this marriage last instead of having them intervene. I don't know about this theory but it made the story more intriguing for me! 4) I think the side characters cover a range of personalities and types of people you can meet--especially in an office setting. I look forward to seeing more of them in the future. Other than one annoying pest, I don't think I've met the antagonist yet or if there is one because the "NO MISUNDERSTANDING" tag reassures me that if there is conflict, it ain't something like that. Another good point in my favor! 5) Right now, ML's decision is giving more time to get to know the FL and her as a person. I love how she adapts according to circumstances. She panics but also relaxes quickly and faces them head on. The pair don't always meet eye to eye but there is no bad blood. I haven't seen them thoroughly annoyed or mad at each other. They take everything in with a reasonable mind. They're basically what adults should be or, at least, trying to be. In conclusion, if you're looking for a light hearted, no mess but thrown in crazy situations, and absence of misunderstandings, give this novel a chance!

Devilish secretary

After centuries of ruling the underworld with terrifying power, Lilith dies in an epic battle, only to be reborn in the human world. But instead of a grand rebirth as a queen of darkness, she's reincarnated as something far more mundane—a secretary. Rather than despair, Lilith finds this new life amusing. After all, who would suspect the devil herself to be working a 9-to-5? Settling into her new reality, Lilith embraces her role, living in a luxurious apartment and working diligently in her office. Though her devilish instincts are hard to suppress, she's determined to be the perfect secretary. But when people push her too far, the devil within still comes out to play. When a creep in the office dares to look at her the wrong way, she calmly fixes her gaze on him. "You keep staring like that, and I'll show you what a broken wrist feels like." The man quickly scurries away, leaving Lilith with a satisfied smirk. Even the rich, entitled girl from accounting isn't safe from her wrath. "You think you can push me around just because you've got money? I've burned entire kingdoms for less. Don't test me." She says this with a calm smile, her eyes glinting dangerously. The day continued like that—stopping creeps in their tracks, putting rude heiresses in their place, and being the flawless secretary she intended to be. But, of course, her boss—the CEO—had his eyes on her, more curious than ever. And while the entire office might fear her or wonder about her, she remained blissfully indifferent. This was fun. And she wasn't here to impress anyone but herself. Who knew being a secretary could be so... interesting?
