Don’t know why there are so many 5 stars for this jove. The translation is inconsistent and numbers just get swapped around, which leads to a lot of confusion and guess work. MC makes dumb choices for the sake of looking bad ass, contracts seem useless as there’s no power within them to make he other person follow it. Way to fast paced, and everybody just fawning over MC’s awesomeness. It’s not bad, but definitely not 5 stars worthy.

I am back. As I promised, a review after reading 200+ chapters. Currently I have read till chapter 400, so I believe I might be able to shed some more light on this story and what you can expect. To began with, I am reading this through raws, so I can't comment on translator quality or stability of update. But, from the already released 60 chapters, the translation quality is readable but not exactly upto the bar. One thing I like about the story is it's simplicity. Until now, author has stayed true to the main theme of the story : collecting debt and bringing back the bank to its former glory. Most CN stories seem to forget why they started the story. Everything just seems to spiral out of control. Every arc will have its own mission. There is no end goal. But here you can see what the story is about. MC doesn't deviates from ut. It does has smaller arcs but they are there to support and fill in the main theme. Another thing which makes me like this story more is short filler arcs. Oh, there are fillers arcs, short side story arcs, supporting chapters and what not. But author clearly recognises on where to stop. You won't find stupid tournament arcs or trasure hunting arcs stretching over several tens of chapters. Coming to the MC. He's OP. Which actually suits the theme of the story. He doesn't acts like your genric OP MC. You won't find him bullying people or slaughtering families. In fact, he rarely leaves the bank. It's mostly his ever increasing group of subordinates who collect debt. Only when they kick a hard stubble will the MC come to deal with it. Now about his personality. Please don't expect proper character building and depth. He's no character from ASOIF or something from the hands of Sanderson, Abercrombie or Butcher. He's quite simple and honestly, one dimensional. One thing in his favour is his modern sensibilities. Atleast until now I haven't seem him having any inclination for harem. Infact he dislikes harem. So harem haters will definitely like this. He's not dense and something is building between him and Seven. It's not romance but there are flirting moments here and there. I won't spoil it further but its pretty good for a non romantic CN novel. And yes he's not stupid. You can see why he's making a deal. He knows when he can rip someone off and when he has to stay neutral. Pretty good imo. One thing which ticks me off, is side charcter development. They are fanatical in belief to the level of zealots. The angels have NO character growth or development. They are like NPCs to help the MC. Only needed when a side quest requires it. Pretty sad. They could have fleshed out the story further. But I can see that author wants to play safe. Dealing with multiple characters is not a simple task. You need to balance the fine line between too less and too much. World development is a bit icky. You have ten mortal world's, nine immortal worlds and one big celestial/divine world. The raw terms are a bit confusing so please forgive me if these do not match the translation. The world is not exactly fleshed out. You know it's there but that's it. It's both good and bad. You don't have long arcs wasted on/in other worlds but at the same time , you don't have much impression of those worlds. I haveany more things to say, but I will story here. I will just summarise the whole review. Pro : 1: Single goal. No nonsense targets or anything. 2: Very less filler. 3: No Harem. 4: MC with modern sensibilities. 5: MC is not stupid Cons : 1: one dimensional character. 2: Zealot subordinates and no development. 3: No world development. Note : 1: OP MC That's it for now. Cya.
