A bland copy of a webtoon called The Gamer, another trashy story where each fight boils down to "Skill of the week vs villain of the week type battles". Same thing, but this rehash is made by a person with the same intelligence as the average Overgeared reader.

Read the first chapter and it’s a copy paste of the gamer The order of thing happening quest/mother/analyse/ same mind skill - same body skill etc... hope it change after
Spelloyal:The system is heavily inspired by the gamer but the story is completely different! I can safely tell you that the story is not plagiarism by the gamer. Both are stories of the same genre not plagiarism here (although the name "The Roleplayer" is very suspicious kkkk)
It really changed a lot. You can compare this to an isekai novel. The star is the same but just the start.

I understand that but the fact people said it wasn’t inspired one bit or it was written 10 years ago really tired me when the first 5 chapter were well similar to The Gamer

I understand you, I almost gave up on reading when I saw these excuses. It would have been much better if the author was quiet or admitted that he was inspired by the gamer. To begin with, there was no need to take as much inspiration as they did at the beginning. It was almost plagiarism. However I can say that the current story is very different from the gamer, even the system has its differences.

Might come back later then but first chapter are more The Gamer than The Gamer itself so many people must lose interest like me after 5 chapter of The Gamer but novel like Than the comment saying it’s orignal at a 100% when everyone can see it has idea like The Gamer The Gamer = The roleplayer First quest same First skill Analyse for the two Gamer’s mind = Roleplayer mind (don’t remember the name he gave but the description was the same as the Gamer mind) Gamer body = Roleplayer body (same description again if I’m not wrong) Then after you run into those comment there is some about this novel being 10 years old or something i mean either author did 36 chapter in 10 years which is bad news for the reader and he might really have written it 10 years ago who knows but i searched raws (at least it’s not a translated story who he claimed be his since i didn’t find any) and english version of the roleplayer(on every scan site i know of) and the latest i could found was early-mid 2020 After you try to gather answer for that they say it was written 10 years ago but is currently modified to adapt nowadays trend (saw that one 3-4 times) and then The Gamer vibes intensifies Well it’s a never ending circle, i just find it stupid that author don’t give clear answer and even if he plagiarized/has been inspired by The Gamer for the beggining (because from what you say it’s different after) Telling it would make The Gamer fan comes instead of making then run when they saw the ressemblance in the early chapter
