Should’ve read further, I think this is actually the most well done fantasy, typical Japanese isekai I have ever read. I don’t like reading them for reasons like yours but let’s just say you should give it a shot. I don’t consider him to be a beta and you shouldn’t judge a book based off someone else’s opinion, not to mention the guy who reviewed this only read like the first 10-15 chapters and stopped.

He’s giving life another shot, trying to start over again, and people who are anti social or shut ins in general can in fact become like this around the opposite sex as most are shy or have a hard time communicating socially making them more prone to being nervous. Alright, if what you didn’t like about this novel is because he blushes a lot and you think he’s a pedophile, then go ahead and drop this novel, I only wanted you to give it another shot based off what you said about the Mc in general being a beta and all, and the story, but if what really put you off was what I mentioned earlier than fine, I can see why you dropped it. I’m 17 btw so I can’t really be called a pedophile and I also don’t consider myself one. 😅

Sorry man, but by the description it sounds like the typical japanese isekai which is a real turn off for me. I have read many and been disappointed over and over, turning it frustrating to read.

I wouldn’t consider him a beta for a couple of reasons or rather events that took place later in the novel than what the guy read but if I stated those reasons it would be spoiling the book for you, even if you don’t plan on reading it, others might so I’d rather not. If you don’t want to read it because of previous similar novel descriptions and stories then I’m not holding it against you, I just don’t think you should use his/her review as a basis for your dislike of this novel when they’re somewhat unfounded but your reason is as good as any. Tbh, only reason I read it to begin with is because I’m running out of novels to read but it’s not bad which is why I think you should give it a shot but in the end it’s up to you.😁

I am a whimsical guy, the tiniest unpleasant detail can make me drop a book, even if it gets fixed later on, I don't have the same energy to continue. So if I see something I avoid in a review, then I'd rather not waste my time reading it. Sorry for wasting your time.

He'll be more manly in the future. If you want straight badass MC though, this story is not for you. I have a different idea for a story like that to be honest. More inspired by revenge isekai like Shield Hero.
