We are almost 50 chapters into the story and I can summarize it as One Piece canon, with an OP MC whose only real impact in the story so far has been start teaching Observation Haki to the crew (but no one has it yet), who has stolen Enel Fruit and made Luffy bounty lower due to beating Crocodile. The MC has a gamer power that lets him do simulation battles so as to grind experience and skills, making any possible kind of conflict meaningless (unless he faces an Admiral/ Yonko/, there is no enemy right now who could oppose him). The MC has been an almost completely passive character in the story, which could make sense in his objective of obtaining Enel's fruit. But even after that, he still sticks with the group and canon afterwards. The fact that he is participating in Foxy's fight and kept it canon (not fighting on the first round, and obtaining a possible crew member for his supposedly new crew) showcases a lack of originality of the author, and a missing opportunity to derail canon in anyway.
