Honestly this novel is basically similar to any Xianxia novel you will read. Now before you guys start flaming me saying it's video-game and all, with monster mc etc etc, listen first. 1. The MC is underdog, poor. 2. Smart but stepped on always. 3. Topper but looses his seat to some guy who uses has more money. 4. Father is useless and mc need to earn money in his stead to pay exhorbant loan. 5. Basically chooses options with quickest path to power. 6. System that is basically cultivation with the name evolution given. 7. Mc killls all player except 2, why one is innocent you child, umm OK maybe and her sister who is very pritty, while he happy to kill all others. 8. Extremely selfish. 9. No long sighted vision. 10. Never uses his gift perfectly, ways that are obvious to all. How much more would you like to read. 11. Oh and he is the only one to get quest for endgame items at the very starting of the game. Now you guys can continue you flaming if you would like to.

Bro you are seriously mistaken wt is cultivation plot quality and video genere quality ...here i list cultivation quality 1.mc arrogant 2. To much info dumb on cultivation jagron 3.arrogant characters 4.no fixed plot or repeated plots 5.kill family , clan of enemy 6. Girl falling for mc left and right 7. make reader to low their IQ and some times EQ for reading 8.mc is way too much hero or way too much villan 9.mc think with his diiiiiick 10. Provoke the side charecter and then kill them or get provoke and then kill them

You forgot to mention that though this is supposed to be a 'video game' it's actually a cultivation world in disguise. In the couple of chapters i read the mc who is now a boss monster or something is fighting someone at a 'higher' level than him and the first thing these guys come up with is he must be using a Divine Artifact.
yup... the beginning of this novel leaves much to be desired... however, it improves more and more as you continue reading. the author has some fantastic ideas, but he did have a lot of classic tropes and cliches at the start. if you power through these cliches the novel starts improving, and honestly becomes epic af. (then again I get it, if you have no desires to slog through some boring cliches for the first while)
This novel is like a Rollercoaster. The author will make the Mc stronger during boss fight and at the end of the fight he will nerf him like a last attack from the boss will curse him and make his strength lower. The same thing will happen every boss fight.
