To be honest, I seem to think that this is **** near the later chapters, especially past Chapter 30. This is due to me seeing how that the background info in the storyline is utter garbage despite it being an apocalypse novel. May I remind everyone that apocalypse novels aren’t supposed to have the storyline be something like “Oh, I won a fight now I’m stronger and I won’t explain **** about how other people know the same thing I do” but rather “ oh, I won. now let me tell you about this awesome stuff I picked up and how good it is and I’ll explain things to my teammates every once in a while and explain the background storyline info while I’m at it”. This story only has the first one which shows to me how low quality the storyline is and I’m pretty surprised that it even got on trial read considering how bad it is. And Author, if you dare remove my review everyone’s going to know that you’re the kind of person who only likes good reviews to boost reader counts and not be fair.

Okay I will start off by saying I read some of the Dark King the other novel by this author 😑 my impression although neutral on that novel before I dropped it didn't and doesn't weigh in on my opinion of this novel. No bias I assure you. This novel is a little better than sh*t. The premise of reverse incarnation is very unique and something I've wanted for a long time. That being said author didn't do anything with it. The author forsook any chance at the MC getting aquatinted with the modern world and did very little world building. To make matters worse the world building done before hand shows that the Earth he is on isn't actually the same as ours based off his family situation alone! If this story would have done away with that family background and done something more standard along with maybe allowing for mc to get more aquatinted with modern life and prepare for months instead of a extremely short period it would have been way better. Author is obviously trying to be as edgy as possible. The author literally spare no rod being as descriptive as his limited writing capability can allow. Sorry I hate it when babies aren't finished off quickly and body mutilated after zombiefication. Mc has the memories of the host but it's literally not worth a damn but adding one burden on his shoulder. I stopped reading do to the first interaction he had with the golden hound. I found the story tedious so I didn't go far in. It's just your generic apoco story just mc has knowledge of the future and a stupid burden. I got like 7 chapters in before getting fed up so feel free to not take my word for it

I find that the presentation of the novel is somewhat lacking. it is the story of a man who lived and grew up during the zombie apocalypse, far into the future. at his death, he reincarnates at the very beginning of the apocalypse, long before the birth of his original self. afterwards, it's a rather standard zombie apocalypse story. I found it entertaining to find lots of little inconsistencies throughout history. but it was fine as long as it was "small" inconsistencies. Spoiler: I ended up cracking when the mc decided to protect the only person he cares about by an enemy ...

A refreshing zombie novel read. The MC is clear headed and grows. The pacing is excellent and keeps the reader hooked. Definitely one of the better zombie apocalypse novels on the site. I recommend sticking to it until chapter 10.
