Soo. The city has 20k defenders, gates and walls. They have not even a single long-distance weapon like bow or catapult. Why the **** do you need high walls then? Will you throw swords? There's no other capable commander other than MC's father, who dumbly goes to a duel.. And then we have the MC who doesn't care and soon you will watch as a maid who practiced with her wooden sword on dummies beats 4 experienced grandmasters. Realistic in the realm of highschoolers.

LIKEThey have bows, and they have used bows, it's just that the distance between them was to large. Also catapults and the like aren't as popular in this world, as you only need a single strong fighter to take the walls. The 4 grandmasters were only 2 resonance, and I don't think you know the significance of Spirit Qi, on top of that she was already highly skilled, as she managed to reach First Tier, which requires talent and hard work, not some dummy whacking. Atleast read till chapter 20 before writing a negative review.
So many things wrong with this review lol. Maybe try reading past chapter 6 of a novel before reviewing, and at least actually read those 6 chapters if you are gonna review based on them instead of skimming. There were other capable commanders, they just weren't as strong and busy dealing with the fact that the three strongest groups in the city other than the commander were traitors. And the maid. I won't put a spoiler tag here because this happens in like the third chapter, this person clearly just didn't read. The "maid who practiced with her wooden sword on dummies" was not only gifted in combat (reached the second-highest level of martial arts possible), but she was given a type of energy that was so powerful that the entire world believed that it was just a myth/children story.
He read 3 chapters and already knows how a novel with at leas 200+ chapters go =)) ... Mate for your info those type of duels were to lower the moral of the enemy and trash talking works in a world were face/honor matter. Saying the author is a idiot just proves to me that your brain cannot handle complex thought ...
To be fair this novel is pretty cliche. I had dropped it when it reached the random aspect picking up the emperor's son made me figure this novel is going into a generic direction.

His father was the emperor. I feel like you are ignoring the fact the novel sucks. Plot armor for days alongside bull**** powerups. Dude is irrelevant
Xoul:that was the emperor ... not his son
no mate ... the whole point of the rebellion was because the emperor died and his 11-12yr old kid became the next emperor and was speculated he was used like a puppet

DWArden45:I don't see what you are arguing about since you just admitted the kid's father was the emperor. so what is the no mate in reference to?
If the novel was any good then I wouldn't have skimmed over it. Like this novel is mediocre at best. It's just the amount of convenience of the mc getting a silver spooned social position alongside "random" not so random aspect made me drop it. I actually want a mc to solve things through ingenuity not just pressing a button ie system.
TheDolphin:Please read the novel before you try to bash it. Skimming it over will do you no good.

the fact that you keep on saying the emperor who is like 12 is not the emperor just shows that either you haven't read it or you skimmed through it

Rojikku:My favorite part is I saw a commenter predict this exact outcome. I only read four chapters. This author is full of idiotic decisions and tropes.
you gave it 1 star at 6 chapters there is long distances weapons likes bows and catapults which were in use if you read further grandmasters can basically ignore the arrwos even and that there was people on the walls attacking so shooting bows while getting attacked is diffuclt the maid is not just practing on dumbies the maid is a tier 1 grandmaster which is not possible from just practing on dummies and the grandmasters are sht compared to cultivator
On the maid beating 4 experienced grandmasters, first she has been trained and not just against dummies, second, she is far stronger than them and it's only a fight and not a slaughter because of her inexperience, this was said in a later chapter. It doesn't matter how much experience a toddler has at fighting, they can't beat an *****, why would this not apply in a fantasy world? The difference between their strengths is like the difference between a toddler and ***** in our world.
