The characters personality and backstory is extremely dumb and confusing.i mean it takes place in Gotham but it still makes no sense for his fellow students to beat him half to death and leave him to die in an alleyway since batman is around.plus them doing all this for a girl makes no sense.and him killing people in the first chapter and his quick acceptance of carnage is not well thought out.

And if you read later chapters up you would knownthe real reason so that's probably your problem right there and you missed sone details like he doesn't actually live in Gotham and the young justice leaugue are busy and ignored him anyways and they didn't knownall the info onnthe situation so that's why they didn't help mainly

Imma be honest, this story sucks. The fact that it sucks, sucks. I want this to be a good story, but the author's writing doesn't always make sense and is hard to follow. The pacing is really convoluted, and there's a distinct lack of realism for how he gets away with what he does. Like I said, I really want this to be a good story, but it's just really difficult to follow.
