If I had a chance to go there then I am certainly not interested in them or the straw hats. I wanna make my own crew and climb to the top on my own. That background is useless (Garp didn't even try to save ace).

I would pillage some of his crew and just sweep in after he has trashed everything and left. Luffy just wants to fight and eat meat. Gold and weapons just left behind if he didn't have Nami in his party.

What types of things would you wish for?

Gold, Devil fruit (defeated enemies), ships, talented people he just helps and then moves on. Luffy's crew could have been twice as big and OP if he wasn't so blasé. But if you were an SI, you would be trying to increase your power without gaining all the enemies.
