Read the raw until around chapter 500, it started great until it goes to the part where the MC goes to the US and “righteously” raiding US bases and there’s also the part where the MC goes to Japan and starts slaughtering people. Yeah... I think i prefer Taiwanese novels more than the main land variants. the main land variants generally has a lot of anti-west bias.

Seriously? That's kinda f*cked up. No wonder it's like brainwashing. It makes me sad. I've noticed that CNs are comparable to JP quality plots but the forced and unreasonable racism or nationalism always ruins the story flow of things.

Kid gains ability to travel to another world with beasts, barbarians, and cultivation (probably). Review from chapter 39. Very minor spoilers. Haven’t done a review in a while so let’s do this. At will, our MC can travel to the other world and bring stuff with him. With a world full of precious goods and the title of the novel, I’m sure you can connect the dots. I feel the novel focuses mostly on comedy so far. Don’t expect serious conversation between characters. There will be banter and stuff being done. We don’t know too much about the other world. The synopsis tells us there are pills and artifacts. We learn that there is cultivation but haven’t seen it. There are unknown plants and animals similar to ones on Earth. They can all probably kill you. And of course, humans. We know there are villages dotted around and I think towns and clans too. Not sure about the clans. MC ain’t too smart, ain’t too dumb. Cutting him a lot of slack for his actions though. He’s a bit shameless as every MC needs to be for some reason but also acts according to his age when in the other world. Everything is alien to him so it’s all understandable. The characters aren’t annoying at all since interactions are mostly comedic in both worlds. His dad is kinda eh though. There is a possible love interest but the way it’s playing out is making me unsure. It might be or it might be for comedy. We’ll see. I don’t know what the future holds for us. New stuff happens right after chapter 39 where he’s going somewhere new. He’s already done quite a lot of things by chapter 39 but he probably will cultivate and/or establish himself in the other world in the future. I can’t make a lot of guesses cause I’m too poor. Good read. Annnddd it’s 7 AM, time for bed.

Despite rating the novel as a 3.0/5.0, the novel isn’t actually all that bad. I’m currently on chapter 622 in the MTL, and apart from a certain few things, the novel isn’t too bad of a read. SLIGHT SPOILERS BELOW Below are a few of the major problems with the novel: *** 1. The author is an idiot. If you can get past things like the author not knowing the color of the sun, basic-level arithmetic, not knowing that San Francisco is not in Los Angelos, and how the world works in general, you won’t suffer too much. The author likes to use fallacies a lot, so sometimes you just have to skip over it and keep reading. *** 2. The author is extremely racist and chauvinistic (genocide level racism) Up until chapter 250 or so, I didn’t really see too much, but all of the sudden it became extremely perverse. When the MC went to the US, he said “all Americans deserve to die” and released a gigantic beast into the middle of Hollywood to wreak havoc. This later gets even worse when the MC goes to Japan, where he goes off on another racist genocide. This is probably the most blatant, perverse chauvinism I’ve seen in a webnovel, and that’s pretty hard to beat. At times, it’s minimal, and at other times, it’s every paragraph. *** 3. The author can’t write any ‘arc’ or event without something going awry, and each time that thing takes up 20-40 chapters. In short, a lot of filler. The author writes that he wants to the store? You know that something is going to happen on the way to the store. *** Despite all of these detriments, the novel isn’t all that bad. It’s just brought down by the author’s intelligence. Regarding the perverse chauvinism, I’m assuming the author’s novel started to drop in popularity, and wrote like that in order to get in the ‘good books’ to get their work promoted more.
