Kid gains ability to travel to another world with beasts, barbarians, and cultivation (probably). Review from chapter 39. Very minor spoilers. Haven’t done a review in a while so let’s do this. At will, our MC can travel to the other world and bring stuff with him. With a world full of precious goods and the title of the novel, I’m sure you can connect the dots. I feel the novel focuses mostly on comedy so far. Don’t expect serious conversation between characters. There will be banter and stuff being done. We don’t know too much about the other world. The synopsis tells us there are pills and artifacts. We learn that there is cultivation but haven’t seen it. There are unknown plants and animals similar to ones on Earth. They can all probably kill you. And of course, humans. We know there are villages dotted around and I think towns and clans too. Not sure about the clans. MC ain’t too smart, ain’t too dumb. Cutting him a lot of slack for his actions though. He’s a bit shameless as every MC needs to be for some reason but also acts according to his age when in the other world. Everything is alien to him so it’s all understandable. The characters aren’t annoying at all since interactions are mostly comedic in both worlds. His dad is kinda eh though. There is a possible love interest but the way it’s playing out is making me unsure. It might be or it might be for comedy. We’ll see. I don’t know what the future holds for us. New stuff happens right after chapter 39 where he’s going somewhere new. He’s already done quite a lot of things by chapter 39 but he probably will cultivate and/or establish himself in the other world in the future. I can’t make a lot of guesses cause I’m too poor. Good read. Annnddd it’s 7 AM, time for bed.

LIKEOkay, I might have been exaggerating too much when saying we know nothing about the other world, that’s only in terms of geography, world history, and such. There’s a pretty good chance we would have learned a lot more about the world in the few chapters after chapter 39. As for his relationships, I agree many of them aren’t really 3-dimensional, but I wouldn’t describe them as dull and I don’t even know what you mean by vague. And just because he doesn’t start cultivating yet doesn’t mean nothing has happened so far. There’s more to novels and this novel’s premise than cultivating. Events have to take a natural progression and he’s developed himself enough in the other world in the first 39 chapters that there’s also a good chance he’ll start cultivating soon or at least do new stuff. I’m not telling you to read it, just trying to give my fairest representation of the novel. In my reviews, I try to be as detailed as I can, but I like to avoid mentioning the finer details as much as I can in case anyone wants to read it. It also depends on the novel if I can make a good review or not. If there’s too many secrets and twists, my review would probably be vague as f*ck and I might have to reveal some information. Novel is not that bad though. Not masterpiece or deep but fun.
