Never before has a book made me feel the need to write a review, however this one is different. The writing quality is excellent, surpassing the best Qidian has to offer and is up at the top with the likes of Supreme Magus and The Lord of the Mysteries (it’s been a long time since I’ve had to look up the definition of a word and it is an exciting prospect with this book). The story/world building is intriguing, reminiscent of Terror Infinity in premise but with its own uniqueness which makes it captivating to read. The characters are interesting as the author does his/her best to replicate all the human intricacies. I hope that this review will serve as encouragement for the author and other readers to persevere with this story; the only reason it is not in the top 15 is because not many know of it (surpasses plenty of the garbage up there like My Vampire System for example). I hope you continue to write this book author, for my sake lol.

I mean vampire system is only up there because of how the author pushes readers to vote for it but yeah this was recommended to me recently and I completely agree with you it probably belongs in my top 5 or 10 maximum

Do you mind explaining the MC's personality a bit? Is he evil, antihero, neutral, good? Thank you in advance.

Hard working, leans towards good but it is not excessive. Sometimes he is selfish. Just like an average human really

Disappointed? I think it's realistic. But we have our own preference *shrugged*

There are tens of thousands of novels with good natured MCs, while there are barely 20~ish with antihero - evil MC that have more than 100 chapters. So when i find a novel that interests me but the MC is good natured or leaning towards good is just so disappointing no matter how 'realistic' it seems for the story.

Yep, most Author would Potrait their MC as a Hero. As most public opinion of Hero is better than anti-hero. Some of Korean Novel's with Anti-hero Protagonist that I can recommend is : Dungeon Defense and Dungeon Hunter. Chinese Novel with Evil MC that I can recommend is : World of Warlock and Reverend Insanity.

I know the reasons that's why I don't mind it that much, just disappointed as I said. Also, thank you for the recommendations, though I know every antihero/evil MC novel that's worth reading in existence, quite literally. I appreciate the thought though.

Gotta agree with the review, I've been gobling up chapters since I've found it and at this point only rlly log into the app to rack up fast passes for future chapters. It really should be in atleast top 5 or even in 1st with the quality every chapter has to offer, no disrespect to LorM or ** but my hype has slowly died down for them after catching up and most chapters are just build up to cliffhangers now. This new blood really came when I needed it >w < Really sucks that the stupid 'My Vampire System' crap is in first but not rlly surprising, he basically just nuts out chapters everytime someone gives him a power stone and well the story, characters, etc... are all kinda subpar like I'm talking a quarter of mediocre. Just barely passing the line for something actually legible, plus all the alt account 5☆ reviews and him deleting reviews that say anything critical its just kinda sad that people can't see this gem and instead see that sh*t stain when they boot up the app.

Im with ya, even the ones that start Anti hero, or revenge usually end up being pussified by the end of the novels.

At least we have new and good original books right now with Devil's Rise, Birth of the Demonic Sword, Abyssal Lord of the Magi World as well Supreme Lord Shapeshifter to sort of make up for the lack of Evil/Anti-hero MCs.

For your question, the MC starts off as a normal dude, with a normal moral sense, with the expected selfishness of a loner. My will was that most readers could relate to his behavior, especially in the beginning, to better understand why and how he changes later. With this logic, it's impossible to write an evil MC from the start, because if that's what you're looking for it is indeed not a novel for you. However, it's an apocalyptic world where people have to make choices and the MC is not a saint either. He will change as he adapts to this new world. Now, I don't think the MC will ever be evil. I want him to become chaotic neutral on the long run. After all, I don't enjoy reading novels about psychopaths. I read Reverend Insanity and as good as it is, it is not my cup of tea. I think it's quite obvious why not many authors write about evil MCs. The authors identify to their characters, especially the MC. Writing about an evil MC is just disturbing and unnatural, since most authors won't be able to relate to him/her at all and it is true for most readers.

When most people say Evil or Anti-hero MCs, the reason we love them in novels is not because they massacre mindlessly or for fun, It's because they're the type of people to kill of an entire species if for example they would get their extra special souls and become stronger. Personally I'm not looking for a psychopath, but an MC that will actually do anything in his path for power. Real chaotic neutral should be exactly that, as neutral means not inclined to help anybody but themselves, especially when you add the chaotic term. Thank you for your response anyway, It's your book and I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm just trying to figure out if this book is what I'm looking for. Good luck.

Firstly I have to mention that this is a great novel with an intresting concept. The mc is not cliche and has a real personality and furthermore he is not flawless. He is an introvert but in reality he wants to socialise with others. _Writing Quality_ The writing quality is pretty good and there are very few mistakes (I am not an englsih native speaker so you probably will find more than I though). _Stability of Updating_ The author posts a day, but sometimes he misses a day but makes up for it in the later days. _Story Developpment_ It has to be said that this is a slow story but as soon as he ~Spoiler~ enters the new world the progress is normal. It is clear that the author has an idea for the plot and the story follows a clear "path" _Character Design_ The characters are all interesting and have their own flaws. Even though you can guess the personality of a character, there are some plot twists which seem understandebal but unexpected. ~Spoiler~ Additionally you can see how the MC fights his asocial personality and socalises more and more -World Backround_ The world has a clear structure and there is nothing that happens, that seems totally random. The wolrd is furthermore intresting and you want to know more abou it. All in all it is a fun read and you should give it a try. [At this point the story reached 73 chapters so far and things can change and this review would be inaccurate] I have to remind you that this is my first review so please do not blame me to much if you dont like it

OLD-WORLD EXTRA

{Check out my new novel, Misunderstood Villain: Heroines Mourn My Death} 'Born In Ruins' was a forgettable read. That was the only way Emir could describe the pages of the novel he had found himself reincarnated into. The young man barely knew anything, but the snippets he had recalled only caused him unending sorrow... As what awaited him was only tragedy and an early death. It was a depressing story, one that he had planned to flip on its head—all for his salvation. — In this post-apocalyptic world, monsters fought humans and cyborgs in a battle for survival on a scale greater than ever before. A world where innocence and death were a luxury, where the line between heroes and villains was razor-thin. Within its expanse, 'Ancient Clans,' 'Galactic Federations,' 'Factions', and 'Corporations' presided over colossal 'Ruins' that dwarfed the concept of life itself. Survivors of the 'Third World War' continuously dove into the 'Old World,' 'Hunting' for 'Relics' in any ruin that they could find on Earth, desperate to reclaim 'Lost' technology, to stand a fighting chance against the inevitable. But it appeared that 'Earthkind' had met their match. …However, Emir would never allow that fate to take its course. — Emir unraveled layers of the tale and realized the truth of the world. He acquainted himself with the rules of this game before it fully consumed him. And now... no longer content with mere survival, he sought to dominate over the very fabric of this unforgiving universe. Emir shall rise from the pawn he once was, seeking to unravel the mysteries that hounded him. The boundaries of 'Aether,' his father’s disappearance, the noose hanging above his family’s head, and of course… his starless destiny, a fate he longed to control. This pursuit would earn him the epithet: "Prince Of The Fallen." ---------------------------------------------- *Tags: Reincarnation ;), Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Magical Realism, Academy (Volume 3), Romance, Apocalypse, {Anti-Hero. Villain.} *Expect this novel to start slowly; it begins ramping up at the halfway point of volume 1. *The Magic System is introduced at the end of volume 1, read my review and Auxiliary chapter for more on that. *Warning: The main characters have emotions like proper humans. So don't expect your usual emo kid as the MC and come complaining later.

Global Planets: Build A Primordial Civilization From Day One

People got a planet in the beginning and what to do with it was up to them. Wang Yi, a young man in the 21st century, coincidentally transmigrated into a world where everyone had the opportunity to awaken a planet. The larger the diameter of the planet, the more advanced the energy transformed, and the more powerful the civilization created. Some people obtained the planet's energy as " Martial True Qi" and used the creation sandbox to create a martial civilization, and the people on the planet were all martial artists. Some people get the planet's energy as "Immortal True Energy" and use the creation sandbox to create an immortal civilization, and the people on the planet were all cultivators! Some people obtained the energy of the planet as "Fighting Qi", and used the creation sandbox to create the civilization of Fighting Qi, and people on the planet are all fighters! Some people obtained the energy of the planet as "Soul Power", and used the creation sandbox to create the Soul Path Civilization, and the people on the planet were all Soul Masters! ... Everyone was struggling to evolve a magical civilization system. Wang Yi, however, used his past life memories to start evolving an "Primordial" civilization! "Your world-extinguishing laser cannon is powerful, but I have the son of the Great Dao, Pan Gu! One axe will reduce your world to naught!" "Your thousands of angels are powerful, but I have three thousand Chaos Demon Gods to beat you in a minute!" "Your army of darkness is awesome, but I have the Buddha's Paramount Sage, who will defeat you in a minute!" "..." This was a story of how the Primordial civilization crushed various transcendent civilizations.
