What I like best about this book is that it takes me back to my early days of reading about cultivation. I have become tired of all the gratuitous smutty cliches out there that when I read something like this, it makes me happy to keep reading. The MC is likable and so are the side characters. Not bad so far.

I would say his sensei is a cheat in herself...she is obviously OP but if you are talking traditional cheats, nope. No rings, amulets or bloodlines or some such so far. She teaches him this demonic cultivation that ramps up his training and just before she leaves, she implants a heavenly grade(?) spirit root in him (so convenient) since he didnt have one and now he can cultivate both. The princess he saves is also a cheat since she manages to not only have his older brother made into a king, she also gives him a pass into "cultivator only" territory and also gets his sis into a sect. This is only with the 60 chapters available....I havent gone looking for raws.

Bruh he asked for a cheat not endless spoilers. I just read this to see if this novel was any good now I don't want to read it at all with all these major points being hung out. Be careful with what you type others might not have read and are only looking to get their curiosity

Cheat?nope.but mc has an op gift that his master gave him.it is a phoenix hand and it is super powerful in the first 1000 chapters!

yep, there is a lot of plot armour, but they mention it quite early on that there are three op items on him which is basically the plot armors. so you can take it as the write having an allowance of plot armors for when he messes up.
Crafting_God:Less plot armour, more justifiable growth regarding how he comes to cultivate. Princess bit was a little plot armour but still made sense
EIo_Police:The entire first dozen chapters are pure cliché, what story did u read? This is legit like every other cultivation story just without a system or op stuff attached to him.
