Chinese novels were very important to me, I started to love novels by reading "Coiling dragon" and haven't stopped reading since. But over time my "taste" has matured, there are some novels that I liked before that I can't read a chapter now, with time I realized how poor most Chinese novels are. This novel is this: Poor, there is nothing new, nothing interesting, it is always the same thing: Young master, young lady, slaps in the face, miraculous treasure, several chapters dedicated to something that can be solved in a SINGLE sentence , stupid crowd, the protagonist is despised by everyone, and an eternal escalation, there is always someone more talented, someone more powerful, other worlds more developed, other dimensions with another race, another multiverse ... I don't want to offend anyone, but Chinese readers seem to suffer from some kind of mental illness, I don't understand how popular these "things" are in China, Chinese communism imprisons the brain of its people, originality is dying. Summary: This novel is garbage.

LIKEI have to agree I too also started reading light novels after finding coiling dragon and though some other novels that follow similar plots have been enjoyable. I too am finding it harder to continue reading Chinese stories. I have honestly started reading more Korean light novels they have a wider range of plots and for the most part, not all of them use the same tropes. I will also say that the translators on this site have caused me not to read a lot of the stories that do have the same plot just because I can't understand what I am reading. I honestly would not mind reading some ( not all) of the stories that are on here even though they use the same tropes but because of the poor translation quality and the overpriced chapters, I have no desire to read most of the stories on her anymore. If you are looking for some good stories to read here are a few. 1.The Second Coming of Gluttony 2. Genius Detective 3. Overlord of Blood and Iron (very new but good) 4. The Beginning After the End 5. The Devil's Cage 6.The Iron Teeth: A Goblin's Tale 7. Forgotten Conqueror
I agree, Korean novels are satisfying me much more than chinese ones, i am also reading fanfics and original novels here, unfortunately many promising novels are discontinued. Finally a list of good novels haha, i read some of these novels, i'm currently reading "The Second Coming of Gluttony", thanks for the recommendations, nowadays i'm happy with any novel recommendations (the good ones ^^).

Same here. I got into it because its new, way different compared to western novels and fanfics, but with the lack of originality and the annoying tropes, I got bored. Its been a year or two now since webnovel has been active, not to mention the translations before this website. Where’s the innovation? I drop in occasionally, and nothing of note pops up.
Hii, where can i read korean novel?

Try ‘THE LITTLE PRINCE IN THE OSSUARY’. It’s a korean novel with ~30 chp translated now. It’s pretty dark, and really portrays the extent of what people can do.

You could also try ‘Necrotourists’ - a jolly lich exploring the world with his undead buddies. Or Tutorial is too hard How to be a heartthrob in a horror movie Nidome no yuusha - edgy (probably not)
