This ruined me for other books! I have to use all my willpower to force myself to read, for the next few weeks, because nothing can compare to this masterpiece! I've read it twice now, and I intend to read it again and again and AGAIN, even if it's left on hiatus forever! The grammar is mediocre, admittedly, but that doesn't ruin the story in any way. The story develops to a satisfying pace, quite a fast one, I daresay. But that only serves to concentrate the yummy goodness of this book! The MC is like if Konrad(Profane Prince) or Hal(Rise of the Cosmic_emperor) if they were edgelords! And I mean that as a compliment; a most refreshing and visceral kind of evil, that doesn't pander to the average man's taste! As for the other characters, most of them are so interesting I'd love to them in person 😏! And they're wonderful complementary elements to the MC's powerful personality. The world background seems to be the weak point here, as it is not very well fleshed out, but it's very easy to infer how it all works, and you will see! It's not that important to begin with 😏 Overall, this story is incredibly unique through the lengths the author goes with his premise, while at the same time keeping it pleasant and enjoyable! In the end to try to give you a sense of what he's like, I leave you with the wisdom of Samsarawithwords: "He was the type that if you slapped him, he'd turn the other cheek, of your girlfriend to the side as he banged her."
