I personally didn't like it. Mc seemed to be evil for the sake of being evil and there was to much smut at the beginning of the story. I mean I like smut but when it makes sense and not super long. Damn, I want a good evil mc who isn't an edgelord.

totally agreed... I have not seen a good evil MC, perhaps the closest thing was the start of Reverand Insanity. There are some good anti-hero novels but the evil is never done with proper balance.

Indeed Reverand Insanity is a great novel. However, sometimes it gets way too dark to binge read it. Need some break from all the wickedness of Fang Yuan.

well, if you want somehow evil but with reasons and something close to principles MC, them Villain cultivator is perfect for you. At beginning it seems, he is forced to situation (and it's continue), but he is really good at being evil and enjoy it (mostly killing, he loves killing, but not meaningless, just battle to death) It is about modern person ending in world like cultivator novels (literally like novels ) with second most evil system I have seen. Story shows ignored parts of cultivator world and morals are quite questionable with everyone. Buddhist church is evil sect there(at least for natives) but they promote peace, stop massacre and feed poor children. Well, they wants to get donations for temple pretty intensively (not always), and believes in orge Buddha, and when they capture army (who wanted to destroy most of human civilization in continent) they give them choice die or become monk and them brainwashed them...

I have read it, and you are right the evil in that is done well and there are reasons for his and most of the others characters' actions. That world as a whole works for that story. Plus the system and it's mission are entertaining. That was a good pick mate any other recommendation you have?

well, deep on what you want, this was best on evil I have, do you like fan fictions? in it evil(probably, mostly in greedy and megalomaniac way) category is dark Lord Dumbledore, pretty funny, good writing, interesting story with new ideas and pretty coldblooded (sometimes) MC. (MC is reincarnated as Harry Potter, and God, he will (rather not) show them, what can chosen one do, he has Big plans!) If you want something dark, with MC who wants to do good thing, but do it pretty Rudeless, brutal and merciless way and is pretty psycho(but with reasons) them try Marvel: Exilir rise of the mutant empire. MC will do Anything for his race. There was also that Caterpillar story, MC did start as pretty neutral character, but slowly shifted to really evil and seems to not realize it, I did stop reading it, there was more reason, but this was one of them.

swallowing the spider is option too, MC is (according Specter) almost totally evil, but book is written interesting way, that we read one chapter in past (marvel world) and in future (DC world) so I'm not sure if he is evil or villain. Questionable? yes, evil? maybe, need to read more. p. s. writing isn't strong part of this book, so need some understanding, but story is good.
