Precious golden light was skill of enemies that MC must have overcome to acquire it. He got both technique and resources thanks to constantly looting enemies, so every progress is reward for his hard work. It didn't fall from sky. There are also levels of it and it takes time and resources to master it. He also doesn't use it as main weapon, but more like surprise attack to deal with enemies.
