This story doesn't make any sense at all are you saying that an insignificant soul of THIS mortal is capable of affecting this god king, if so then you need to redo your power scaling because the soul of a this MC and his kind (God King Cultivator) is EXTREMELY lemme pin for you really EXTREMELY weak as weak as the mortal of the earth, from what i know cultivators have strong spiritual/mental strength that's why i'm telling you that you better come with a good friend excuse or redo the entire power scaling of the Mc's kind. What bothers me is how soft-hearted the Mc is(not saying he needs to be a typical chinese protag) going so far as to thank the previous owner of the body with that kind of personality is something you wouldn't expect to a being who claim to have walk and pave a path of blood and war to himself which made him look like a p*ssy to me. Again the fricking soul is what bothering me the most how fricking weak this cultivator must be to be affected by one insignificant mortal soul🤦🤦😑

Whats annoying me is the cultivation period... the reason I read it was bc of the modern world. Not just so it can have a hidden one inside of it... Wanted him to slowly cultivate being him the only one in the world that can and him working his way up to becoming, like a legendary gamer, singer, actor or something. Another thing that annoys me is whenever ppl write modern world novels they never use rl ppl. Like they always just add an oc for everything, for best friend, lover, rival etc. Not saying nothing can be oc but things like the lover, rival, ppl who he interacts with being some from rl. Would be cool being able to see pictures of say talyor swift being his lover, fitness model or something. His rival could be pewdiepie as a race who can get the highest subs stuff like this. Interacting with our world. I mean atm this is the same as always modern world, oc everywhere no rl ppl interaction and ofc the cant miss the hidden world that nobody knows about... enjoyed the story up to the point where met the girl and went to her house... ruins it there for me.

If I start to put RL characters, one hour the bomb will explode and my novel will have to be cancelled as IRAS, I prefer not to take that risk and use mostly OC, after all is not a fanfic.
Iras? up to you as its your story... just saying that for me if im reading a novel that has our world in it I wanna read about people from our world, makes integrating with the story a lot more real and engaging. Also makes you relate to it a lot better en all that. Will just make it seems so much more real if you get me ? If its just all oc as you say I see no point in it as Id rather read another modern world novel.
I don't see in the part of the God, sudden weakness but his nature of love righteousness and Justice. Just that the writer lowered standards which is the main xtics of the morden world
