Yeah, the mc has no clue who is is, whether he has a family, or even his age. All he has is an estimate for his age, a name given to him by his new GF, and vauge feelings of needing to take care of a pair of brats he meets. (And they are brats). As for general world knowledge from his original, he apparently remembers the games from up to Diamond/Pearl, but he doesnct have a photographic memory of them, or a pokedex in his head. And most of the info he does remember is outdated by 2 decades. Then he also has knowledge on acuba gear, so he might have been a diver or dive insteuctor. If he had displayed fighting prowess beaides a aucker punch or soccer kick, i'd say he was in some countries navy. Also, just to note, one of the characters (i think it was Naomi), commented on the fact that his accent was from the Galar region, which is basically the British isles (Great Britain, Scottland, and Ireland). So that gives a clue to his identity. All we need is more info.

I have a few problems with this...#1 Ash has been 10 years old for the 24 years. #2 Which generation of Anime are you talking about? Different events happened in different generations. Different companions, different starters, different teams, different legendary Pokémon.

The anime doesn’t care about logical time progression. clearly. so just assume all seasons occurred in one year cause every season is represented in this story.
