Review Detail of plastic_doll in Great Doctor Ling Ran

So many petty comments.. The novel of Pierce the heavens synopsis was misleading, I did read it afterwards & it was a really cool novel and I admit voting without reading is very irrational but at least we had a synopsis to base from. But here so many people being petty and personal over a misunderstanding, the bad comments of that novel were all deleted. And it's not like you bunch didn't judge this novel by it's cover, and not all of us will like the same thing whether a novel leaning towards Feminity or masculinity. Apparently Qidian has this much toxic people, grow up. If I encounter this toxicity this much, I will just leave QIDIAN, at that point screw novels.

Lol, are you being salty for them doing the same as others did? Judging things without reading goes both ways. Sure the synopsis on the other was slightly misleading, but only if you didn’t read the tags. The bad comments on this will be removed just as they were on the other one, so don’t get too worked up over it. As for the toxicity, you’ll find that that’s close to 70%, or more, of the internet. Try to ignore it. If you really can’t handle it, I don’t know what to tell you.

There are too many harem novels, 90% of qidian is basically harem.. So another potentially good novel going harem(pierce the heavens) of course going to create some frustration. I usually don't rate harems anyways, if I see a novel I don't like I don't rate at all. But that one synopsis was like blatant bait. But anyways, you're absolutely right.. guess it's karma, although the two novels were victims in this toxicity. And no this is really nothing, just better avoid when u can:)

So true in what you just said. Like, the male MCs in the male-lead novels would only like or "fall in love" in anybody that's beautiful, cold-hearted, or very unusual. As for the women in the harem, let's be honest, the authors literally portray them as gold diggers. Don't forget, some of these characters, that portray themselves as good people, are racist. They're like riding on the Chinese government's di**! They're saying that China is the best and whatnot, while the foreigners are corrupt and evil. Well, guess what? Many of the MC's death rivals, who are evil and want to kill him, are rich or part of the government. Or what about when their parents are sick or dying, but the hospitals and the government don't do anything. Every country has flaws, and these Chinese authors are definitely brainwashed by propaganda. And then we have the female lead novels. I'll admit, I do read them for pass-time and some interests, but it seems like that the male characters have no realness to them. It's either some bad boy, cold person, or a very doting husband/boyfriend. I understand that there is anger when the Female MC is with someone else/somebody is trying to hurt them or that they dote them when they're together, but those are the only emotions I see throughout the stories! The male leads are way too linear. One more important detail for the male lead in each story is that the male MC has to be rich. And then in the comments, other than the ones that are saying "yes" or "they're good together", there are "why aren't there any males in the world like that". Well, guess what? We, males, have feelings, emotions and desires, and two, only 1% of the population is rich, and three, there's something called "it's just business". What these people want is something that only exists in fantasies. Think about in a vice versa way: Do you really think a rich man would eternally pursue a woman who would potentially not give much back and at the same time, fight back and cause lots of headaches because of a misunderstanding? Or a rich woman would eternally pursue one man who would potentially give nothing back in benefits and have headaches because of a misunderstanding? I know I'm being materialistical in this topic, but this is the truth of the rich people society.

i'm not biased when i picked this novel. the synopsis on the other novel is indeed misleading but it doesn't change the fact that it's like rebirth of the legendary guardian and the world online mixed together.

Yeah, but if a good one a Harem won't really matter

Ahhh, thanks for your opinion. Although I could be considered part of the woman fantasy group, I get where you're coming from. I can explain some of our thought processes (my words don't respresent every female so please don't hold me responsible if you meet someone who contradicts my claims, I can only speak for me and people that I know). I'm not going to address anything about the patriotic spirit of the chinese because I'm not knowledgable in that field and therefore have no right to say anything so I'm going to focus on the male leads and women fantasies that some people have seen. About the male leads falling in love in the first paragraph, I totally agree with you about the visual attraction and cold-hearted elements that are unrealistic but see some truth in the falling in love with someone unusual. Some people fall in love with someone that catches the attention and therefore someone that is unique to them. It's just that some authors tend to exaggerate it to a large extent thus causing the fake impression to readers. In the last paragraph, about womens' fantasties regarding a powerful male to be by their side. I can see where the majority of people would be frustrated in being thrown unrealistic expectations and ideologies from others but also keep in mind that even though some of us have wishes like that, at the same time we know that it is not going to happen (heck, even I can't help but act like a lunatic when a ML and FL are throwing dog food at us and want that for myself). It can be thought of like a good dream. For example, if I were to dream I ran around the whole city playing hide and seek with a dinosaur and getting away scot-free from doing mischevious acts without getting tired, it's not like I'll actually try it becuase even if I want to and I have an opportunity to do so, I know that it's a bad idea and thus causing me to not act on my weird fantasies. Some females might actually think it's going to come true and it might, I wish them the best if it does but the majority of us don't think like that. Just like how some guys believe we shouldn't shove ideologies on them, at the same time, guys should also have some faith in our reasoning skills. Fantasies are fantasies and we understand that. To the person I replied this to, I am not targetting you with my words at all. I appreciate the time you took to address some of your thoughts and grateful I got to know how some people were thinking. I didn't realize that this was a frustration to some and therefore thought it would be nice to put my thoughts down for the people who might stumble on this and have the same doubts as well. ** note that even though I used "females" and "males", I do not entend to classify someone in one group or the other and merely used it for the sole purpose of easier referencing. If I offended anyone with my use of words, I apologise. To the people who read until the end...... CONGRATS ON FINISHING THIS MINI REPORT! Haha, I often get told that I write too much. I thought it was incomprehensible before but now I see where they're coming from😅😂 It feels good to get that off my chest!😥

Also! Thank you so much for talking about the protrayal of women. I feel that a lot of novels on here protray not only harem members but all females who are not friends with the FL as gold diggers, arrogant young misses or schemers and it's honestly getting annoying. It got to the point where I just naturally dread the entrance of a female in a novel and stay far away from novels with a female protagonist except some specific books. Although, I explained how some females think a few second ago, something that I'm really confused about it how a lot of people like the controling and yandere-like male lead. I just feel like the majority of those characters don't give respect to the FL and it honestly scares me how many people are for that. Maybe it's the same as the women's delusions and they like it on paper but not in real life but still, it can qualify as one of the 7 wonders for me. Sorry to the person I'm using the replying space from. At this point I'm just typing what I'm thinking and venting some frustrations and confusions I had. Wish the people reading this the best!❤
