Good story's foundation Good story's background Good story's pacing Good character's interaction Good character's personality Good character's background Good ... Good ... ... Well, many good things can be reviewed from this novel especially the MC. Not to mention that this story is using a historical reference, which makes is becoming more interesting and moreover since the entrance of the mental girl, some medic terms can also be learnt from here Since I have taken a liking towards the MC, his personality to be more specific, I hope that there won't be abrupt change to his personality and please NO NTR! since I absolutely hate that **** Last but not least, thanks for writing this amazing story and I have to say that your grammar is quite excellent, there's no need to degrade yourself that much since there's only some typo, but the story itself is enchanted further by the fluid grammar used The occassional references and jokes used are also good to keep the mood up Once more, thanks for the novel **: I've rewritten the review for the fourth time since it always failed to post before

Dude... that's what you're paying attention to? I guess it should've been black since it's set in ancient china

I was just asking because apparently there's good Character background. Or maybe not if the author doesn't even vaguely describe his characters.

... good character's background doesn't means that the appearances are described that clear... or what, you mean those generic xianxia/xuanhuan novel describing girls that appears out of nowhere similar to pests using 1 to 2 paragraphs every time they appears? Good background character means they have solid foundation for their reason of living, their own lives and their own personality... (sorry for the long ranting since I'm getting fed up with those xianxia)

"This sandwich is the best sandwich! 5/5" Oh? What bread is on the sandwich? "*Realizes that there is no bread on the best sandwich.* Reeeeeeee." Guess this sandwich isn't for everyone.

Fluid gramma?? Lol No. Its not that bad, but fluid No. Im really strict with gramma of stories i read, but this story wanders just a few steps from the line, leaving me to constantly ponder on wether or not i should drop it. I only read 2 chapters so far, and came to the reviews to see if others agreed with me.

Well, we have different criteria in scoring then... I mean I'm not even that picky and it's all good as long as I can compherend the story by reading it without trying too much...

This isn't your typical reincarnation story. Which is pretty great in my opinion. If you enjoy stories about war or anything related to the romance of the three kingdoms. You would enjoy this story despite its flaws. The main character isn't extremely over powered and the author was able to devise a proper balancing mechanic in the beginning. If I only read the first half of the story I would've of given it a 5.0. The reason why I had to rate it a lower level is because of several reasons. The first reason is the main character is starting to become a different person. In the beginning of the story you are introduced to a main character that understand he isn't a genius. He has to be cautious and mindful of all his actions. Its the reason why he spent so much time and effort to recruit capable strategists. He gathers information, asks for opinions before he makes any major decisions. Yet, now the main character no longer asks for their opinions and makes rash decisions. The second reason is the main character doesn't exactly understand how the mechanisms of this world actually work. Neither does his lover who was a demon from hell. Her mother does and shes currently in the world as well. If it was the former main character after he discovered she was in this world he would've of asked her how the rules of the world work in order to make himself stronger and used this advantage against other sinners. But this hasn't happened which makes it even more infuriating! The third reason is a pretty big one. You know whats worse than a omnipotent and omniscient main character? An omnipotent and omniscient antagonist. Don't you love novels when the antagonist/s is able to predict, anticipate and convince every other person in the world to go after the main character for no reason at all? Whats the likelihood a person in modern earth would have extensive knowledge of the waring states in china? Unless you are obsessed with dynasty warriors, a war tactics addict or dramas from this period its very unlikely. Yet the remaining sinners are all quite knowledgeable about this period. Hell even the former antagonist that was the sole mortal enemy to the main character was. Which wouldn't make any sense with his backstory. The fourth reason is the novel no longer has any "balance." In the beginning of the novel we had a system where you'd lose lifespan when you used a skill. The "players" in the world had a advantage over the natives because of their skills, but they had to pay in lifespan. For example one of the sinners has a skill that can can create anything. From skills from other people, to gold, to even clones of other people. He can literally make anything. How the **** is this even legal. No, how isn't this person dead already. This isn't a skill its a goddamn console command. The author is nerfing the main character while buffing his opponents. Did the main character end up playing ******** mode? The fifth reason is the current plot has become so convoluted it can be frustrating for a new reader to get into the novel. A perfect example is in the story we learn that heaven and hell exists. You have angels and demons and humans can become either one after they die depending on their karma. So in that case what the hell is a cultivator? Is he just a angel than because he has angel wings? Why is he trying to turn the native population in world into angels? Why is it possible for a sinner to become a angel? With all their negative karma aren't they more suited to become demons instead? Wasn't the reason why they came into the world was so wash away their sins? Wasn't the reason they came into this world in the first place? But now without completing the game they can just become angels?! Why isn't their a demon trying to turn the native population into demons? We learn that heaven and hell went to war, but we don't know the reason. We haven't had any chapters dedicated to it either. I'm not trying to be nitpicky I actually want the author to succeed. Hes working hard and hes pretty dedicated and it sucks to see the novel in such low rankings. In my honest opinion this novel probably needs a remake to make it more palatable to new audiences. The karma thing you had with the main character and the dead antagonist would've of been more interesting. For example after he died his soul could have ended up corrupting or taking over another sinner making that person want to kill the main character for revenge. Or he could've been consumed by his heart devil in his lust for power. Maybe he could've of corrupted the angel? The angel seems to have potential to be the final boss, but in current plot shes just a minor villain which really wastes her potential. I really enjoy your other novel by the way. You might want to rename it and give it a better cover I'm sure you'd get a lot more interest that way. Its a shame you need to focus on this one more.

The Reborn Emperor.

Meet Li Wei, a history loving grad student with the worst luck in the modern job market. He's dreamed his whole life about changing society maybe even becoming a wise leader in some ancient dynasty. His favorite era? Ancient China, of course, with its brave heroes, clever warlords, and fascinating politics. Only problem? There’s no job for “aspiring historical visionary” in the classifieds. But one day, fate steps in. After a (heroic, if he does say so himself) rescue of a little girl from an oncoming car, Li Wei opens his eyes… to find himself staring up at the ceiling of a palace. Turns out he’s been reincarnated as an 18 year old emperor in a world that looks suspiciously like ancient China, but with a twist. And guess what? The kingdom’s in shambles. There’s corruption everywhere, taxes are sky high, commoners are struggling to survive, and his court treats him like an adorable but useless figurehead. Most people would freak out, but not Li Wei. This is his chance. Armed with his love for history, a little bit of modern knowledge, and a healthy dose of sarcasm, Li Wei is determined to make some big changes. He’s going to pull his kingdom out of the mud, whether his scheming advisors and grumpy generals like it or not. Along the way, he’ll build an army, make new friends (and enemies), and maybe just maybe become the kind of ruler everyone fears but secretly loves. Get ready for a comedic adventure full of witty one liners, dramatic reforms, and plenty of awkward encounters as Li Wei attempts to turn his impossible dream into a hilarious reality. This emperor’s got his work cut out for him, but he’s not backing down. After all, it’s not every day you get a second chance to rule a kingdom, right?
